A Free School - Batu City II

New adventures are something worth trying, but the question is are you ready to face it?

Short story, I was accepted at the free school.

The school is located in Batu City - East Java - Indonesia.

I am very grateful because finally, my father allowed me to leave after I regretted what I had done before.

And my mother also agreed with my decision.

Everything was packed and I was ready to go.

"Hey, just to remember, don't break the rules that have been made. Obey those who are older than you"

Mom gave me advice before getting in the car.

"And, if you're not mistaken, don't be afraid. And make good use of what you already have."

Said father added.

I hugged them both and kissed them both. I can't believe I'm finally going to be independent after this. I hugged them both tightly, and accidentally I saw Awan like he wanted to feel what I feel right now.

I gave a code to him, to come closer and come to hug mom and dad, before leaving.

"What if you get stung later!?"

I just smiled and gave a code that I would be fine.

Shortly after I gave permission, he came closer and joined me in a hug.

"Why this is so warm?"

My mother said.

"It's okay, ma'am so that the heat lasts, I can still feel it at Batu City"

I said that while holding back the stinging sting that was running through my body because this was the first time I wasn't holding onto an invisible creature. Instead of hugging.

I could see the happy expression on Awan's face.

If you were really here, I'd be very happy.

But with you waiting for me for 13 years, it really proves that you really love me.

I let go of our arms and slowly I walked towards Mr.Parman's car, about to leave.

I waved at them, and they did the same things.

Yes, of course, I'm not the only one who entered the free school. But one of my middle school friends was also accepted there. So I'm not alone there.

Their name is Agnez and Novan.

Yes, plus one more even though it is not visible, Awan also comes with me.

Today, to be exact is Friday the eighth of June 2012. I have already left for a new life and new challenges.

Why do I call it a new challenge...

Because this is the first time I've been away from home for a long time, 3 years.

And I don't know how many of them were there either. You should know what I mean by "Them".

And I have to adapt to my new environment. I hope I can get through it. I decided to sleep along the way because it took about 2 hours.

I felt a gentle tap on my arm, and I slowly opened my eyes.

"Hey, H we've arrived! Let's get up"

Agnes exclaimed.

I woke up and my eyes opened wide because I had just entered the gate.

I've seen three or even four more of "them."

Gosh, this is only in the parking lot, what if it's already in the dormitory.

I erased the negative thoughts from my head.

And try to act normal.

The car stopped in front of a tall yellow building. Has Three floors I guess.

And no play, no more. But "they" are many.

Awan just shrugged his shoulders when I looked up at him.

"Come on, everyone!"

Mr. Parman shouted as he got out of the car.

I grabbed my luggage and got out of the car.

"Welcome everyone, welcome to this free school!"

Came suddenly a black man with a big smile on his face that greeted us.

"I am Mr. Didik, one of the teachers here, let me take you to the teacher's room first for re-register!"

We all immediately followed behind him.

I looked around, and the place was very spacious and it turned out that this yellow building was a school building. Because I see at the lower end of this school area there is still room. More specifically, the building.

This place is still quiet, in the sense that it is quiet from settlements because all that can be seen from here are only two yellow buildings that stand on this wide area.

And the sides of this place are rice fields and gardens.

Hmmm, free school, so what can I do?

"Come on, everyone, sit down first, and you can fill in all of your data"

Exclaimed Mr. Didik.

The three of us are busy filling out a re-registration letter that was just given. Meanwhile, Mr. Parman was busy chatting with Mr. Didik.

I saw from behind the window, many students were holding a lesson in their class.

The class is unique because the bottom base is small pebbles that fill the entire room.

"Hey, you all, I'll go home first, because I want to continue my work. Remember everything is fine here, okay?" Mr. Parman said with a big smile.

"Yes, sir"

Novan said

"Okay sir"

Agnez exclaimed

"Yes"

I added while kissing Mr. Parman's hands.

It doesn't feel like the sheets in front of the three of us have all been filled.

Yes, regarding the rules and agreements about this school.

"Okay everything is Done, so after this, Andre will guide all of you to going to Dormitory."

Mr. Didik explained.

We just nod our heads.

"Ndre, please take them to the hostel, okay?"

"Yes sir"

"Hello everyone welcomes to the free school, My name is Andre's brother. What's your name?"

While pointing one by one of the three of us.

"Oh I'm Agnes"

"Novan"

"I'm H"

After a while, he laughed.

"H or Ejh"

Andre chimed in

"You can call me everything you want hehe"

I added.

After getting to know each other, Andre finally took the three of us to the dormitory.

Hmmm, the weather is so uncomfortable, even though it's still fairly early in the morning but it looks like the air is really gloomy.

Yeah, maybe I should adapt to this place.

I looked around for Awan. Where is he?

I try to call him

"Awan, where are you?"

"Aaaa!!!"

"Why Ejh?"

Andre asked frantically.

"Ah, it's okay, I just saw frogs. I'm afraid of frogs"

"Ohhh, hehe"

Gosh always, and always. How can I not scream, he suddenly appears from below and then rises right in front of me.

Fortunately, I can control my eyes so I can see Awan's face, which is normal.

"Sorry, didn't mean to"

I deliberately didn't answer him sorry, because I was annoyed at him.

I saw with my mouth open, that the dorm was so big. And there are four floors.

"Come on in, and see what room number your name is in"

The three of us approached and looked at the names already plastered on the room list.

"Room number eleven"

Novan raises his voice

"Me, room 24"

Agnez added

"12"

"Okay, Agnez, your room is on the third floor. For Novan and Ejh it's on the second floor. Come on up"

I slowly climbed the stairs and didn't reach the second floor. I can already hear the sound of many children running around, hmmm I have to adapt to many children.

"Andre, they don't go to school, do they?"

I'll ask Andre

"They all go to school because now all the students here are taking follow-up exams so there are no children in this hostel"

Said, Andre

So, who's the sound of the feet, hmmm, they must be.

Gosh, there's a lot for sure, the sound of feet running around like people playing ball.

"Didn't you hear?"

I asked Agnez and Novan

"What, what sound?"

Reply Agnez

"Hmm, forget it!"

I'm free to ask them. They didn't even hear what I heard.

"Awan They're the same as you or mixed or Jin?"

Then I asked Awan.

Awan was silent for a moment and closed his eyes. I think he feels the air right now.

"They're all here!"

Awan answer

It's all here!!!

I just kept quiet trying to brace myself and act normal. Try hard to act normal.

And after reaching the second floor. I see a lot of doors and this hallway is very uncomfortable even though it's morning, the atmosphere is a bit dark.

Unknowingly I feel goosebumps now. I don't know if the others felt it or not. What is clear is that this is very, very different from what I feel.

Concentrated...

All three of them are in this hostel.
