Another book where consent isn't respected. She says "no" that's all that matters... I'm tired of it... Remember to always respect people when they tell you no. Consent can only be given freely and enthusiastically and can be retracted at any time. Consent should also be informed. Please educate yourselves

this novel would have been much much better if it was really as innocent and devolped the same way it was written in the synopsis...it feels like both were written by two different people

i have read only 10 chapters so far but this is one of the fast pase, ridiculous webnovel i have read so far. it's so bad that it's hilarious 😂 in just 10 chapters I think we reached to a plot which would take 100s of chapters in other novels i am just going to read it till chapter 40 to see how far this would go but it's not worth paying to read this

I had high hopes for this book it sounded interesting, and the first chapter was good, but this fl had character but then is like a dormat I mean she let's things happen to her. she gets ra**ed in her "dream" by the supposed ml and her ghost family are okay with that, saying she shouldn't cry, saying things like you will marry him. we get no introduction except from mention of him ra**in her in thr I guess ghost realm and then she is forced to marry him by her family to save her infant brother. I mean where is the back bone, the next chapter he forces her to ride his car, he says get married , she will die if not marrying okay... and then layer in the chapter she gets salpped by a jealous "sister" then they don't even discuss, communicate and the chapter describing kissing and she has no strength to stop him. I'm LIKE what is this disgusting story of having no rights to her own body!!!!. seriously as a female I am turned off. this was in the first 2 chapters!!!!

== impression as of chapter 10 == Cen Pan can see and communicate with her ancestors' spirits. They help her with making the right decisions for her future, which leads to her marriage with Ye Xiao. 10 chapters isn't nearly enough to review much on the story but 10 chapters was enough to tell me about the novel. The translation/grammar makes it kind of hard to read at times. I'm usually not too picky about aspect but it does bother me when it stops the flow of the novel. Another issue I had was the development of the story. It moved in a really choppy way. Instead of letting a story unfold to us, it was revealed in a way where it wasn't enjoyable to read (like it was told to us). A lot happened within 10 chapters but the lack of character depth or even personality made it interesting to read. The flavor of the writing style is really bland which is a bummer because this idea is fun and fresh. It could've been something fun with the ghost medium/supernatural on top of the typical cliches.

I came for heartwarming ghosts and got dog blood face-slapping instead. Best wishes to author and translator, but this isn't the genre for me. [review based on reading to c8]

Don’t let the synopsis fool you. It’s nothing like it portrays. It’s basically a book of mostly snu snu with the FL repeatedly getting into stupid trouble even when she’s been warned ahead of time by her ghost relatives. If you want a book that’s 75% snu snu, then this is the book for you. Cause there’s absolutely no growth in either the FL or ML from beginning to end. 👎🏻👎🏻

The story was not as good as the synopsis told us! It's super duper mega fast pacing, without rhyme or rhythm or reason (whatever you called it.) How the author wrote this novel was just super weird. All characters are dumb to the core. There was not so much emotion pouring into this. Unending s*x s*x s*x s*x, I feel tired of it! Somehow all the s*x scenes were unnecessary. There's not much about world background or setting in this novel.

The plot idea is good. But I didn't really like how everything progressed so fast. And there was no real development to how the FL and ML get to like each other.

Dissapointed. I don't like the protagonist being a pushover and the story was fast paced. At first, I got hooked by the story description but as I read the first few chapters, it was a let down.
