Part 1

February 20, 2015

In Bulacan City, the Philippines, it was a Friday morning. A family had just awoken from their siesta and was turning on the television.

"Two dead bodies have been discovered in Angat Lake, according to the fisherman, who was about to leave for home when he noticed what appeared to be a body floating in the water."

As the news was broadcasting the man who turned on the t.v grabbed a cup of coffee and started to drink it as he watched the news.

"Well, I believed they were simply playing a joke on me, but when I got close to them, I saw that they were covered in blood, which I found to be really insane.."

The fisherman responded as he was being questioned.

" Up next, a mental patient has escaped the asylum. The person's name is nikko alfonso and is said to be dangerous, so please if you see this man-"

The man then turned off the t.v and called out his children.

" Michael ! Sarah ! Get ready, the delivery man will be here soon."

The man stated as he reached into the kitchen and grabbed a knife.

…

A couple of minutes have passed, A delivery driver has stopped in front of their house.

" Hello, pizza delivery is here."

The delivery man said as he knocked on the door.

" Is anybody home?"

The door then opened and the delivery man saw Michael sitting in a chair.

" Come in."

Michael said as the delivery man came into their home. As he went in, Sarah closed the front door.

" ma'am, sir? I got you the pizza that you ordered."

" Sit down."

Michael said to the delivery man with a smile on his face.

"uhm… okay."

"Tell me, have you ever believed in god?"

"No sir, I'm an atheist."

"Then allow me to tell you something: according to our family, Satan is the real, good deity, and if we follow his instructions, he will grant our wishes. Do you wanna know what we require for Satan to grant our request?"

Michael said to the delivery guy aggressively as he stood up.

" wha…what do you guys want?"

As he attempted to stand up, the delivery man felt uneasy. Suddenly he was restrained by Michael and Sarah's father so that he couldn't escape.

" We want… sacrifices."

Michael said as he slit the delivery man's throat, killing him.

" So how long are you continuing this for?"

Sarah asks his father.

" As long as the one below all is satisfied."

February 21,2015

Michael got home from school with a smile on his face.

" Hey dad."

" What is it?"

" A group of college students will come to our house today, I think it's enough for the sacrifice."

" That's great ! We should get ourselves ready then."

When Sarah overheard the exchange downstairs, she decided that she had had enough of recently murdering innocent people. She picked up her phone and dialed one of the college students that will arrive at their home to warn them. As she was waiting for someone to answer her brother went upstairs and saw her suspiciously.

" Sarah? What are you doing?"

Sarah didn't answer to his brothers question, Michael then approach sarah and gets her phone.

" What in the world are you doing?!"

Michael shouted at Sarah because he saw that she was trying to warn the students.

" I'm done Michael, I don't want to do this anymore, ever since mom died you and dad became satanic and thought that killing a few innocent lives can bring her back."

" don't you get it sarah?! Satan is our only saviour; he is the only person that can bring mom back."

" no, michael you and dad will have to listen to me, mom is not coming back she's gone,satan's isn't real we are just murdering countless people because we thought by doing so she'll come back but the truth is we can't just face the fact that our mother is gone and there is nothing we can do."

Michael reportedly breaks down in tears and falls to his knees as Sarah starts to cry. When their father overheard their chat, he became upset.

" Sarah? What are you talking about?"

" Dad, this madness has to stop."

"Stop? Satanism stands for generosity to those who deserve it rather than love wasted on ungrateful people! If you don't understand that then you'll stay here and me and your brother will handle this."

Their father said with a rage tone in his voice.

"Come on Michael, let's prepare the sacrifice."

"Michael, this has to stop."

Michael then looks away from her sister as he walks out the room.

" Sorry sis, believing feels much better than accepting it."

Michael then closes the door and locks it, making Sarah unavailable to help the students.

"Michael! Please! You have to stop this!."

Sarah said as she tries to open the door, Michael then goes downstairs to help his father prepare the weapons.

" Dad?"

"Yes? Michael?"

" Have you ever wondered what's the people that we murdered future would have been?"

" Michael… every night their souls hunt my dreams but it will be worth it if it means your mother will come back."

" How can you even be certain that this will work?"

"Just trust me."

His father said to him as he sharpened his knife.

7:00 PM

Michael is standing outside their home waiting for the group.

" Oh there they are."

Michael said followed by a gasp of guilt.

The car of the students then stopped in front of michael.

"Hey there Michael, thanks for participating in your home for creating our group project."

"No problem marvin."

"Let me introduce you to the others, this is Emily and jacob."

Emily and Jacob then greet michael.

"Uhm then who's the one at the back?"

Michael said as he saw another person at the back of the car.

" Oh we just met him, he said he's a student from our school as well and wanted to help out."

Then the unidentified individual exits the vehicle; he is dressed nicely in a black suit, black slacks, and black shoes, he then gives Michael a handshake.

"Hello, Nice to meet you. My name is nikko."

"I'm Michael, nice to meet you ( i never thought that there will be an extra looks like this is gonna be hard to clean with )

Michael thought to himself as he began to get nervous.

"Can we go inside?"

Marvin asks Michael with a smile on his face.

"Yeah sure, come in."

The five of them then went inside michaels house, as they went in they were greeted nicely by michael's father.

"Please, go sit on the couch."

The students then went to the living room, they sat and chatted with each other.

" So nikko, what class are you from?"

Emily asks nikko.

"Oh… I study literature and emotional psychology."

" Woah, that's so cool, you must be really smart."

Emily complimented Nikko with a smile.

"Thank you,Emily."

" Here, have a drink of tea."

Michaels father said as he poured The students A cup of hot tea.

"Thank You very much."

Marvin said as they all drank their tea except for nikko.

"Uhm, Nikko, why aren't you drinking your tea?"

Michael said as he's eager to get the job over with.

"Oh sorry it's just that when I went here I saw two handkerchiefs that smelled familiar from your yard but I'm not quite sure what it is. Do you mind if you and your father?"

"Uhm, Yeah sure just give me a sec."

Michael then approaches his dad.

"Dad, I think Nikko found a handkerchief that belongs to our early victims."

"What makes you say that?"

"Well he said that he found it in front of our yard so maybe while we murdered someone they drop their handkerchief in front of our house."

"That's nonsense."

"Well, we should be aware of evidence that might get us caught right."

"Hmm… okay let's take a look at it."

"Uhm, Hey nikko can we take a look at those handkerchiefs?"

"sure."

Nikko hands both the handkerchief to Michael and Michael's father.

"It doesn't look like it belongs to us."

Michael's father says as he checks the handkerchief.

"Oh but the smell is different."

Nikko said with an expressionless face.

Michael and his father then smelled the handkerchief.

"wa…wait what… Is this?"

Michael said as he began to lose consciousness.

" chloroform, does it smell lovely? Now don't judge me by using this kind of trick, You guys also put some sleeping powder on our tea right?"

Michael and his father then collapsed as he saw Nikko standing up.

Meanwhile Sarah is sobbing in her room wishing that her father and brother would change their mind and won't kill the students.

"Mom, our family has been broken up since you were murdered by an unidentified individual last month. Even if we did a lot of awful things, I hope you will stay with us mother if this demonic nonsense is true."

As Sarah was crying someone knock the door.

" dad? Is that you?"

"No, I believe your dad is preoccupied right now, miss."

"Who are you?"

Sarah said as she stepped back at the door.

"Oh, I'm just an ordinary visitor."

"Where's dad? Where's my brother?"

" There okay miss, here let me open the door for you."

Nikko then opens the door from sarah's room, Sarah was shocked as he saw nikko holding a wooden bat.

" Who…who are you? Don't come close!"

"But I thought you wanted to see your family?"

Nikko then approaches Sarah and hits her with a bat at her head, knocking her out.

10:00 PM

"Wakey wakey."

Nikko said with a smile on his face.

"wha… what's going on?"

Sarah said as she woke up tied to a chair. Her head is bleeding from the hit, He then saw her father and brother and the students also tied up to a chair.

"what's going on?!"

Jacob asks as he tries to struggle to get out of the chair.

" You sick bastard, What are you trying to do?"

The father asked as he glared at nikko.

" Please, I'm not the only monster here, ever since I got caught,bodies have been found all over bulacan city. People are thinking that those murders are my own doing giving me extra punishments.

"You're a fugitive."

Michael asks nikko.

"Well you could say that but for me i'm still in a cell trap in my own reality."

"You're insane."

Sarah said to nikko, Nikko then approached sarah with a knife.

"Sweety, defined insanity? Because for me I'm just a normal human being who's taking revenge for the innocent souls that have been sent to hell."

" What are you going to do with us?"

Marvin asks with a scared tone.

"A 3v3 game will be played by all of us. You will lose one team member if you choose the incorrect response."

"What do you mean by losing a member?"

Emily asks with a nervous expression.

" I mean that if you answer incorrectly, I'll slit your throat."

Nikko with a smile on his face, the students then began to sob and beg for them to let go.

"Okay,Okay everyone settle down, this is my first question,  I don't have eyes,but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I'm white and empty. What am i?"

No one responds to the inquiry as the seconds pass because they are too afraid to do so.

"Okay, New rule if no one! Your team answers! I'll rip all of  your hearts out!"

Nikko then begins to count up to ten, everyone panics as they are thinking what the answer could be.

"5! 4! 3! 2! -"

"Wait! Wait, I'll answer."

Jacob said with a nervous tone.

" Okay then, Jacob, what's your answer?"

" Is it a soul?"

Nikko begins to clap slowly as he approaches Jacob, Jacob then smiles nervously thinking that he answered correctly.

"Congratulations… You just got a ticket to hell."

"wait! What?!"

Nikko then slits Jacob's throat killing him, Marvin and Emily screams in fear as they see their friend get killed in front of them.

"The answer is a fucking skull how can you guys get that wrong?! Aren't you students?!"

Nikko yelled at the other two indignantly.

"Next question,I look to be sleeping at your feet every morning. No matter how quickly you run, I will follow you the entire day, although the midday sun almost kills me. What am i?"

Nikko then begins to count down again.

"6! 5! 4! -"

"I'll answer."

Michael said as Nikko approached him.

"What's the answer michael?"

" It's our shadow."

Nikko then begins to laugh maniacally.

"Correct!"

Nikko shouted as he slit Emily's throat. Marvin screams as Emily's blood gushes into his face.

"Oh my god, Oh my god!"

Marvin then breathes heavily as he panics.

" Marvin you only got one life left, so let me ask you this special question, if you get this question right I'll kill the other 3 and let you live okay?"

"Okay, Okay I got this, I got this."

"That's the spirit, now the question,Who among men cannot reside within a home?"

As the clock ticks, Nikko stands behind Marvin waiting for him to answer.

5 minutes has passed since nikko asks the question to marvin.

"Marvin, it's getting late."

"I don't know the answer."

Marvin said as he sobs thinking he was going to die.

" What a pity."

Then, Nikko fatally stabbed Marvin through the heart.

" I really thought he got it."

Nikko said to the 3 members of the family as he pulled his knife out of Marvin's chest.

  " We won? Right?"

Sarah asks Nikko with a stutter.

"No, not yet there's still one question. But it's for the two of you, Michael and sarah."

"What is it?"

Sarah said as she looked at Nikko with a terrified expression.

"Have the both of you ever wondered who killed your mother? What if I tell you I was there to witness everything."

" You see, I've done research about your fathers behaviour."

"Don't listen to him, kids."

As he tries to persuade the two not to believe Nikko, their father says.

"Stop talking; your children need to know the truth."

"What happened to our mother?"

Michael asks nikko

" Michael, don't listen to this man, he's a killer!"

" And we're not?! Dad?! I wanna know the truth, i wanna know what led us to being murderers."

" As i was saying, 1 month ago your father found a satanic book that can influence him to be a satanic, It's said that one of satan's requests from the book to become his loyal servant you must offer hundreds of innocent souls and the love of your life."

" you… You killed mom?!"

Michael shouts at his father with an angry tone.

"It has to be done michael."

"Dad, all this time you gaslighted us thinking that you wanted mom to be back."

Sarah said to his father with a distressed expression.

"Kids, you don't understand, I must obey my god."

"You killed our mother, you piece of shit!"

Michael shouts as he tries to get out of the chair. Nikko then laughs maniacally at the situation.

"Oh religion, I can't believe you did that for some book that you discovered, murdering your wife merely to serve Satan, how disappointing, I can't believe that people can be this foolish to believe such a thing.

Nikko then stabs their father, rapidly killing him in the process.

"HAHAHA, now then the two of you."

"Even if you kill us, do you think it will satisfy you?"

Sarah ask as to nikko.

"Hmm, come to think of it you're right, you guys are too good to kill off right now."

Nikko then dropped the knife and started to walk towards the phone.

"What are you doing?"

Michael ask as he was confused why nikko didn't murdered them.

"Sit tight child."

Nikko then called 911 and said that there are 4 bodies in their home.

"Kids, I have to go, but I'll be back soon, so please sharpen your minds for me.

Nikko then walked out of the house.

12:00 AM

The police arrived at the scene with the ambulance getting the corpses. Sarah was being asked by the police.

"Hello there, My name is Archie but right now let's cut to the chase, what happened?"

"An ordinary guy stopped by our home and gave us the truth.
