Ch 28 - Lily

'I- I! I don't know her, but she does seem familiar though, like I know her' thought by Rintarou as he took a deep breathe and walk downstairs to stand in his front door, putting his hand on the handle, readying for the worst to come as breathed out and smile while simultaneously opening the door.

"H- Hello there!" said by Rintarou to the girl who was more than surprise as he saw that she almost on the drink she was drinking as she profusely cough and look at him in surprise.

"So uh... I'm your new neighbor! The name's Okabe Rintarou, its nice to meet you!" said by Rintarou with a smile as he prepares for an argument but only receive a weird stare.

'Huh, why is she looking at me weirdly' thought by Rintarou.

"Y- your Rintarou?" ask by the girl.

"Yes? Do you know me?" ask by Rintarou.

"..." the answer he receive was only silence as the girl averted her gaze from his and hastily entered her own apartment leaving him there hanging with an out stretch hand preparing for a handshake.

'Huh, and here I thought I was going to face a hectic situation, the land owner is really quite a troll' thought by Rintarou as he shrug his shoulders and entered his own apartment and entered his room as he sat there with grave eyes on his bed.

'To steal or not to steal... Wait, I know! I can just move on to a timeline where somehow everything is the same, but my delivery somehow arrives in a few minutes. God my brain is just too fucking big, sigh, I guess its now time to browse through the timelines, put a filter real quick to not spoil myself and uh... now that I think about it this is going to be headache inducing but I'm only gonna steal as a last resort' thought by Rintarou as he started to look through the countless timelines while not spoiling himself and finally, after possibly hours as he lost track of time he found the timeline where he gets all of his order in an hour.

"Thank the lords! I finally found you baby girl! Now come to daddy!" said by Rintarou in a loud voice as it didn't cross his mind that his neighbor would hear that when he literally live far away from the city for most of his life.

Then he felt the switch in timelines where everything was still the same, the only difference was how his package would arrive in an hour as he lied down on his bed and massage his head.

'God my head is about to explode! Okay then, so how will I then tackle metube? Hmm, I do have A rank Charisma but I don't find any difference with my appearance, so perhaps its more of a subtle change? What does Charisma even do? Lets try singing?' thought by Rintarou as he recorded his voice and started to sing and was surprise to hear that his voice was very much different compared to before, if before was decent, now its marvelous as he couldn't even believe that the one singing was him.

'Hmm, so it alters my voice to be more pleasing, probably for talking. Then also increase my persuasion, reduce conflict and stuff, meh, Luck would probably be more op than this but that's for a later time, now how would I attract a base audience for my metube channel, fuck vtubing because its too tedious so I should just wear a face mask or be a faceless streamer/metuber for a while, hmm... maybe I should just manipulate fate again by choosing the perfect timeline, lets just do that but I need this to be as fair as possible, and I also need to learn editing, following the trend and all that stuff, hmm, lets just see how this goes once my equipment arrives' thought by Rintarou as he got out of his bed and donned on new.clothes which was still the classic white shirt and black pants and walk outside his apartment.

'Now where to eat... Lets just order at Wacdonalds, its quite near here anyway so I'm just gonna walk' thought by Rintarou as he opened the gate and went out to see the huge crowd of people and after a while, reach wacdonalds and entered it as he ordered some chicken nuggies, chicken, burger, and some Sprite as he walk back home holding two bags of the same food.

'I should give this to her, to have a better relation and all that, besides I think she was just shy and surprise to see a new neighbor so that's why she looked at me weirdly' thought by Rintarou as he opened the gate to the entrance to their property and lock it once he walk through the gate and steeled his heart.

He slowly walks to her door with a beating heart as he took a deep breathe.

*Knock* *knock* *knock*

3 resounding knocks was heard with his hand knocking on the door with each bash felt like his mind was being challenged.

He heard slow and steady footsteps appearing from what seems to be upstairs that walks down a flight of stairs until it slowly approaches the door he was knocking on and then, the door slowly opened with the girl's head peeking through.

"H- hello there, because we are going to be neighbors for a few months I decided to buy you some wacdonalds as a gift, uh... hope you like it" said by Rintarou with a smile as he handed out the bag in his right hand as he felt like time was extending to eternity with the resounding silence coming from her until the door slowly opened more as she started to speak.

"... Thank you, I forgot to introduce myself, I am... Kim Nari, its... nice to meet you" said by Nari as she took the bag from his hand as Rintarou finally knew her name but Rintarou felt something familiar again with the name but dismiss with just his time and space control messing with his brain.

"Nice to meet you Nari-ssi! I hope that we have a good relationship in the future" said by Rintarou with a smile as he felt relieve and entered his house while feeling like he had just done an impossible task and sighed in relief once he enters his home.

"But I really feel like I know her, past life memory perhaps? Maybe, with quirks appearing any bullshit is possible, especially for me when I can just move into any timeline where i don't know, there has been a poop invasion where shit became sentience and plan to takeover the world, anything is possible really, but the chances of me finding that timeline is abysmally low so no thank you" muttered by Rintarou as he went to his room and sat down on his chair and watch some metube on his computer while eating some Wacdonalds.

AN: Ooo, mystery, who is this Kim Nari girl? What is her background, why is the land owner afraid of her, is she someone Rintarou knows? Find out in the next episode where Rintarou has sex with a man, and I am not joking, so uhhh... see you next chapter I guess.
