Sakumo Hatake

'30 minutes later, after I finished preparing myself, I went to Sarutobi-sensei's office. When I heard another man's voice.'

Ryuu hid outside to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Sakumo, as you know both his parents Yuri Uzumaki and Hanzo Uchiha were murdered in cold blood, he needs someone to be there for him, and I know I can't be there all the time, and neither can you but, Me being the Hokage has risks because of my title he will always be in danger.

After all, you and his father were close enough to be called brothers it only makes sense that you are the one to take him with you, Not only that but I trust you more than anyone with him considering his talents others might use them for Evil or they may waste his potential.

With you, I can rest easy knowing that not only will he reach or even surpass my expectations for him, but I can also know that he's safe."

He nodded.

"Hokage-sama, you don't need to say anything else, when I came back to the village I didn't expect to hear such news, honestly it felt as if I lost a part of myself after losing Hanzo and Yuri.

After all these years, I didn't expect him to leave so soon."

He frowned.

'Hanzo, did you do all of this just so you can beat me at something?'

Sakumo thought to himself as a tear dropped from his eye.

"I have made my decision, I will take Ryuu."

The Hokage nodded with a smile.

"Ryuu, stop hiding and come out, we are shinobi we saw you long ago, you might as well show yourself."

Ryuu's eyes widened.

"How did he find out!?"

He entered the room.

"Honestly Sarutobi-sensei, I'm surprised it took you this long to find me, you are the Hokage after all."

He said as he smiled.

'Sakumo was staring at me from the corner

"Your Hair, it looks like your father's at that age but the color is definitely your mother's, there's no doubt about that.

Your eyes, however, are all taken from your father, and according to Hokage-sama, your eyes are more like your father's than it appears.

Ryuu my name is sa-"

"Sakumo Hatake" just before he could finish Ryuu said his name excitedly.

"You're the white fang of the leaf, it's an honor to meet you Sakumo-sama."

He bowed respectfully.

"Ryuu I would like to take you into my family, your father and I were close friends we often battled each other and each time we did it got us stronger both of us would realize that about each other, and by the time we knew it, we were at equal power.

I was told of your talent and skill level, you're even greater than your father at that age. That's according to Hokage-sama.

I have also been told about other things that we will talk about later after we get home.

that's if you're still interested in coming with me."

Ryuu nodded excitedly.

"It would be an honor Sakumo-sama."

He said with excitement and determination.

"Then it is decided that as soon as we step out of this office, you will be known as Ryuu Uchiha of the Hatake clan, and my second son."

he said as he smiled.

"Alright, then Ryuu, get your things as I complete with Sakumo."

Ryuu nodded and took off.

'While I was packing, I remembered something that must've gotten lost in my house.'

"Dad's chain!!! How could I forget it? It was the reason I went downstairs that night. I'll look for it when I go back home, and maybe Sakumo-sama will help me, for now, I have to finish collecting my stuff."

After he was done, he ran to the Hokage's office.

"knock knock knock."

"Come in,"

Ryuu walked into the room.

"I'm ready!" He said as he gave him a thumbs up.

"Alright then Hokage-sama, we will take off now." He nodded.

They left the Hokage's estate.

Sakumo held Ryuu's hand as they walked to their home.

"I'm Home!!" When they reached Sakumo greeted his son before entering.

"Dad!!"

A young boy with silver hair, a black mask covering the bottom half of his face, a green scarf, a black top, and some grey shorts came running into Sakumo's arms.

He looked at Ryuu, who had let go of Sakumo's hand.

"Huh? Who is this, dad?"

"Kakashi, this is Ryuu, your new brother.

I have adopted him and from now on he'll be staying with us as part of our family.

I want you guys to get along. Ryuu's father was my closest friend growing up.

Hanzo and I were like brothers, so it would mean a lot if you guys get along as we did.

"Ok," they said at the same time.

"Ryuu, why is your hair so weird?"

"Hmm? my father was from the Uchiha and my mother, who also had red hair, was from the Uzumaki clan.

Sadly, my clan was eliminated by great nations because they feared our fuinjutsu skills, but my mother and some other Uzumaki's escaped."

He nodded.

"Anyway, why do you have that mask on Kakashi?

Huh, why does that matter?

Anyway, I'm tired. I'm going to go to sleep, dad will wake us up for training tomorrow, so be ready."

"Kakashi, where should I sleep?"

"Hmm, there's an empty room close to mine, just don't be loud and I'm ok with you sleeping there.

"sure," Ryuu said.

He walked to his room with his stuff.

"Oh, before I forget, Sakumo-sama, can we go to my old house another day?

I forgot something really important there and I-I don't want to go alone, I'm afraid."

He said in a low and worried voice.

"Maybe another time Ryuu."

Ryuu nodded, and he went to sleep.
