Unwillingness To Kill

France, September 21st 1803

9:16 PM

Lukas's army was back to their camp. Their battle had ended for today, and were now just going to rest.

Everyone was sitting somewhere, trying to recover some of their energy, whereas some just kept standing.

Meanwhile, Herman was in front of them, assessing their battle today.

Herman quickly clapped his hands. "Well done today, fellas! We have managed to advance quite a lot, and it's just a matter of time until they surrender," he said.

Everyone cheered in happiness after Herman's speech. Despite their huge advantage, it's still been a very exhausting battle for the Austrian side.

The French army, despite being clearly in disadvantage, didn't stop fighting. The intention for that army has probably never been to defeat them in any case.

Meanwhile, Lukas, who was sitting beside Johan, sighed after having some water. "Still, I'm not satisfied with that," he commented.
