Proof of Loyalty

Austria, October 13th 1800

Lukas was in his room, getting ready to go to the Royal Academy. Right now, he was getting finished with putting his boots on.

Soon, Lukas heard a knock on the door. "Come in," he said.

Immediately after that, Adele entered Lukas's room. She seemed very glee today for some reason.

Lukas frowned at Adele's smiling face, but just ignored it.

Lukas then stood up and walked to Adele. "What do you need, Adele?" he asked with a friendly smile.

Adele looked up at Lukas. "Huh... well, His Majesty Franz ordered me to give you this," she said.

Lukas frowned. 'Wait, the King asked Adele? He talked to her personally? Oh, well, now I know why she looks so happy,' he thought.

Lukas then took the letter from Adele's hands, and read it quickly. After a while, he kept it in his pocket.

Lukas smiled at Adele once again. "Thank you for this, Adele. You may go," he said.
