Comments of chapter undefined of Under the Oak Tree

I’m a little relieved that I’m not the only one having problem with the fast pass chapters, but really annoyed that it won’t update. I’m only on Webnovel because of this book, and now can’t seem to even have more chapters unlocked...

I only joined this app to read book 2. I was on board with reading a chapter a day for free, kind of reliving the experience of the book, however frustrating it may be. I was so disappointed to find out that I'm gonna have to wait until AUGUST to FINISH book 1. This is ridiculous. Why can't they keep unlocking them daily like they did before?

I hope they release the next chapter soon. This book is the only reason I'm on webnovel. The price for privilege for the rest of the book is ridiculous. Not doing it.

Okay I am hoping the delay in our daily chapter update is a fluke because if it isnt… they are meanie beanies. I’ve read all of book one so I know what going to happen but I feel bad for all the first timers. Hang in there guys!

If this is how it's gonna be, I definitely will not be voting for this story anymore. Or starting any more stories on Webnovel. It's really nasty of them to just stop updating chapters like they did and try to force people to buy privilege or wait months, which is absolutely ridiculous when the story is already written and people who buy privilege get further chapters but those of us who don't want to spend an insane amount of money, in addition to the ridiculous amount of money we've already spent on the subscription, have to wait months for something that is already there they just won't give it to us when we've already paid for it! Way to alienate and lose your readers author, and way to scam your customers Webnovel.

Is anyone else unable to advance to the next chapter?

This story does such a good job of capturing how traumatic war can be, even for those not on the front lines, without using graphic descriptions of gore or violence. It's rather unexpected for a romance novel, but impressive.

They're just milking it out by this point. Already spent so much on webnovel. I'm just going to wait for the next chapters on Amazon and continue reading book 2 on Ridibooks. The newest chapters on Ridi are just ❤❤❤.

Its a very bad strategy of webnovel to make people wait because they will go back to the fan translator sites to be able to read next chapters... We get all the drama about the "illegal" translations and people came here to be able to support "legally" the autor and now this bad surprise...

This is really frustrating i am only on here for this book and now i can't even get new chapters this is the third time this has happened to me. I am beginning to think I should just delete this web site if this is how its going to be....

So, about this not updating thing, I wanted to give some info on what happens with priviledge from how Ive seem priviledge work on the authors side. I have a side account with a book Im writting just for fun (Im not even sure if Im good, just testing it out),the story won a contest and with that a contract with webnovel, so guess what? One day, my novel had priviledged chapters I had not put there. Turns out its automatic, I asked to have them removed and they told me it wasnt possible, the author can only choose the number of priviledged chapters, the minimum being 2 (theres tiers but im not gonna get into that). The only way to unlock these chapters is to publish more, so the priviledge is placed on the new chapter and unlocks the previous. My theory (cause in all the info they send me there’s nothing on this) is that as the book is finished and theres no new chapters comming theres no automatic unlock, so either webnovel manually has to do something about it, cause I doubt the author(translator in this case) can do much... I can only hope we can read it eventually cause the priviledge is insanely expensive 😓😓 Has anyone else ever read a book here like this?

pretty sure I'm uninstalling wn because this app is predatory. waiting until it's all available on Amazon and just buying the books outright.

Also came here only to support the author and read the book on an official source. This is such a disappointment.

the worst thing isn't we have to wait until August to unlock the rest of book one. the major problem is that at these conditions we won't be able to get the end of book 2 here at all when it's completed, unless we buy the privilege 😑

@webnovel when chapter 160 is gonna be avaliable using free pass please let us know 🙏 more people should be able to read the book with the official translations this is unfair!!!!!!!
