"We are home!"
Linlin's voice immediately resonated through the hallways going to the living room. There, the woman was sitting with the laptop on her lap and glasses above her eyes. She tilted her head and smiled at the two youngsters.
"How was school?" Adreanne asked.
"We didn't have much lesson today since the school was preparing for another event which is the art exhibit," Athasia answered, putting her bag down on the solo sofa. She leaned and removed her shoes.
"Auntie, did you know that the teacher was trying to get Athasia to join the art exhibit?" Linlin said, groping her hair into a ponytail.
The ambiance of the silent house immediately changed as soon as these two young ladies entered the area. Adreanne could be much happier now. She was tired from work and from thinking about the stacks, but when they arrived, she felt her nerves calmed down.
