Porthampton University's sports meet was only held for two days, and most of the track and field events would be held on the first day.
Ordinary people could participate in two competitions, so that was already considered very extraordinary.
After the first round, you still had to prepare for the next round. Most people simply didn't have the physical strength to do so. For example, it was impossible for a person to finish a 1,000-meter run, then participate in the high jump, and finally do the 800-meter backstroke all in one go.
Of course, there was a situation where the person who participated in the competition did not want to win at all. No matter what kind of competition it was, such a person would only go through the motions. This behavior could still be explained.
Otherwise, it would be impossible to get good results in all four competitions.
"Alright, everyone, stop talking. Can the person you're talking about compare to Fergus?"
