Dahlia didn't need a prophet to tell her that the larger platform belonged to the king who hadn't appeared. Dahlia chose to sit beside Lily and as expected, the others left the space for her.

She looked at the other contestants, aside from Persephone and Lily, Dahlia noticed that one of Persephone's lackeys joined them. She looked at the girl who turned at the same minute and their gaze collided. She remembered her as one of the girls she had fought in the morning room that day and Dahlia could remember her because she had been the toughest among all of them.

As the princess, Persephone was well versed in all areas including combat, and the only reason Dahlia had been able to win in their fight that day was because of her powerful fist. The sheer power in that hand of hers did real damage to a vampire, not to talk of a human.
