King Romulus Is Lying

Dahlia chewed on her newfound snack - the cashew nut. They were both lounging on the bed - Beatrice's idea, not hers - and eating this cashew nut the girl brought over from her sector.

The girl had a lot of them, including the seeds. She says if the vampire king allows, she would love to plant that in the palace garden. That way, even if she doesn't win the competition, she has left her mark already.

"Imagine the generation to come," Beatrice said, waving her hand in the air with a dreamy expression on her face, "When they stand straight and look at the cashew tree, they would say, 'yeah, this was the product of one miss Beatrice of winfold -"

"Who sadly didn't win the competition," Dahlia completed for her and the girl gave her a look.

"What?" Dahlia shrugged, "I'm just saying that you would be only addressed as one miss Beatrice, instead of her majesty, queen Beatrice, if you ended up losing." she explained to her.
