Wow... You have so much knowledge! Yet you don't even know that Ancient one isn't best in hard power, but her ingenuity. She's that strong not because she's really that strong! She defeated the likes of Dormammu and Mephisto on more than one occasion, and even Death couldn't do anything to her, but she outsmarted her foes. She didn't charge in like some kind of bull as you might have imagined... For example, she didn't fear Death, unlike every other living being, and as a result, Death could not take her. Don't use somebody's else's words to prove a point that's not yours to begin with. In hard power, Ancient one wouldn't last a minute in front of Sasuke.

I don't see the need for the MC to go after the Ancient One or the magic of the Sanctuary, the MC would be better off making new movies or animations with characters that know magic and are powerful and simply summon them or take their strength, there's no reason for him to waste his time learning magic. Besides the main thing, I'm tired of seeing MCs go to the shrine to learn magic.
