I'm dropping the novel here, because the amount of infodumps killed my interest for the novel, the fact that this shows the POV of other people more than the mc just made it worse.
I DO think the story is worth it, and the synopsis of the novel sounded interesting, but all these infodumps are becoming too confusing to the point where I feel that if I keep reading I won't be able to understand the story itself since I couldn't be bothered to read the info dumps.
DMadLord:do note that this is my first book as a writer and the early portion are full of errors. you should be tolerant of those errors. you can be put off by the writing quality. that is up to you. but stay for the story. stay if you think the story is worth your time. because you will be missing out if the story is actually worth it. read the reviews and you will know that a lot of people complained about the early chapters too before they found the story to be to their taste. skip the early portions if you can't handle it.
