What A Joke

Ava was exhausted and overloaded with information and confused feelings by the time she made it home. Her friends were anxiously awaiting her return. Zeldris teleported himself down to the parking lot the moment he sensed her arrival and Kael came rushing out the door of the apartment a moment later. 

She wearily waved goodbye to Ian as they bombarded her with questions. What did he want to talk about? How did the curse need to be broken? What were they going to do about him? 

She held up a hand to stop them. "Guys. Give me a second to think."

"My apologies, my lady," Kael said apologetically. 

Zeldris scowled and lashed his tail once they were back in the apartment and could take his glamour off. He said nothing but looked like he really wanted to.
