Kael frowned at the demon standing next to him. "Where did you get those?"

Zeldris was holding a pair of binoculars up to his eyes and replied too nonchalantly for the elf's liking. "A sporting goods store."

"You don't have any money of your own and only I have access to Lady Ava's credit and debit cards. Did you steal it?"

"I borrowed it. I fully intend to return it when I'm done here."

Kael sighed. That was still technically considered stealing since he hadn't paid for it. There was no reasoning with a demon. He had probably teleported in and out in less than a minute before anyone could notice without setting off any alarms. Yet another example of how magic was used for nefarious purposes. 

"Well, what do you see?" he asked unhappily.
