Mortal Enemy

Yzranth realized as time went on both from context clues and from being around other humans more that Hannah was upset because she was trying to find a mate. He didn't like that one bit. Finding a mate was why his mother's princess left her. 

He liked the way things were now. Why did they have to change? 

He didn't think he would be able to bear not having anyone in this strange world without dragons. He missed his parents. 

Were they doing alright? Did they notice he was gone? Were they worried about him? Why had he ended up here in the first place? He doubted he would ever get answers to any of his questions. 

Yzranth was doing his best to adjust to his new normal and Hannah had been the bright spot in that. What would he do without her if she did find a mate and he took over her life?
