The Dodgy Blaster 5

"Hear that? They're finally making a move to retake Ryloth." Waving Ros over to take away the finished bottle of spirits, I continued, "If you marched up there and demanded they put you on the mission, chances are they'd let you come."

"I doubt it." Sighing deeply, Aayla responds, "You know how it is with them. I'm honestly surprised they're letting you go, considering you were there everytime I pleaded with them to go there with the 327th."

"Ki-Adi-Mundi's a total prick isn't he." I spat, sinking another shot to keep up the buzz I was beginning to feel, "He thinks that you can't accomplish anything if you have attachment. The cunts got four wives, a handful of children on his home planet and only goes back once a year to boink his wives and see if they can pump out anymore kids. He's not right in the head."

Uttering a small snicker at the thought of Ki-Adi-Mundi 'boinking' Aayla clinked her glass with mine and said, "He is a prick isn't he?"

"Might as well try though, the worst thing that can happen is you get told no. Shit, depending on how this night goes I'll be up there tomorrow. We can go up together and tell them how it is." I encouraged.

"Oh? I don't think that the council or Skywalker would be amused at being stood up." Aayla reminded me.

"Meh, fuck'em. Responsibility can't come between me and a good time." I proclaimed accentuating my point by throwing back another shot of whatever was just poured.

Shit was finally starting to hit me, beyond a light warmth in my stomach. With the tipsiness settling in, my shame levels were rapidly falling and my confidence was rising. Not as if either were at healthy levels to begin with.

Like my vision, my thoughts also started becoming hazy. Utterly random shit just started popping into my head, the sudden urge to juggle with ignited lightsabers was quickly becoming unbearable and my horniness was going through the roof.

Maybe I should call Lena up when I'm done here, see if she's in town. That pantoran was a ride and a half last time, wouldn't mind another night of fucking if she's down for it.

To be honest she might not even be on the planet right now. I've no clue what she does for a living and I've no intention of asking anytime soon. Anything beyond what we've got going on right now might complicate things, and I'm not game for anything beyond fuck buddies.

I'm hardly on Coruscant so there's no point in having anything serious, and even if I did tie myself down, it'd be doomed to fail before long.

Shaking the thoughts from my head, I noticed I was unconsciously tapping my foot to the music. Making the music from earth here was a great idea, not long after the clone was started, I got myself a frequency on the Holonet that blasts earth's anthems 24/7.

It's zero hassle keeping it up as well, I've got droids running everything from maintenance to making sure the sponsors adverts get the right amount of play time. It became quite popular, especially with off duty clones who have the GBX banging in barracks all over the galaxy.

The money it brings in is the best part though.

Finishing my borderline lethal amalgamation of spirits, I stood up and asked a flushed Aayla, "You coming downstairs for a dance? The place and Wires' antics are putting a damper on the celebrations."

"I can't dance. I'll end up embarrassing myself."Aayla shook her head, but between the mix of not being used to having her lekku unwrapped and a healthy dose of alcohol, she ended up slapping her own face with the tips of her appendages.

How she can become embarrassed from dancing, and not from wearing a bunny suit is beyond me, but who am I to understand a woman's thoughts.

"C'mon, I'll teach you" I said, offering my hand to her.

"I'm serious. I'll end up embarrassing you." Though contradicting her words, she took my hand and we headed downstairs where the flashing lights would hopefully drown whatever embarrassment we'd both feel for dancing.

The instant the droids opened the doors for us, it was like we entered a different world. The noise was palpable and the closer you got to the dance floor the harder it was to see courtesy of the smoke machine pumping out a set interval.

In spite of what she said moments prior, Aayla already had a nice rhythm going on, stepping and swaying her body to the beat of the music. It must be in her genes, so far I've never met a twi'lek that never danced well, even if it was their first time trying.

What it must feel like to have so much grace.

Much unlike myself.

Did I forget to say I was shite at dancing?

With all the grace of a hutt eating, I boogied my way across the dancefloor. Arms flailed wildly, feet flicking out at random intervals and for good measure I threw a couple spins in which did nothing apart from making the clones nearly look like professionals.

While it wasn't a skillful showing by any means, my zero-shame dancing got a good laugh out of Aayla, who quickly got swept up in the atmosphere and began having a good time.

---------------------

So much for being embarrassed, a few songs in and one too many ideas from Ros and Aayla started working me like one of the stripper poles.

Not that I minded right enough.

I wasn't sure how long we were up for, but by the time we took a break and rested our glistening bodies by the bar. When we ordered another round of drinks, I noticed that the club crowd was beginning to thin. I couldn't see outside but If I had to take a guess, it must've been coming up on closing time.

Surprisingly, I wasn't sloshed for once, just moderately drunk, which was a rarity for me on my first night back.

"Looks like we've run the clock out." I voiced loosely gesturing at the lack of people compared to before, "Must be coming up on closing time."

"Really?" Aayal replied, surprised, "Doesn't feel like we've been here for that long." Wiping the sweat off her blow she put back another shot.

Mirroring her actions, but with a spirit of higher percentage, I asked her, "Want to keep it going up at my pad?"

"Isn't it a bit late? What might people think if you whisk me away at this time of night." Aayla responded teasingly, glancing at the men still at the bar. All of the clones had left a while ago, leaving only Coruscant locals as the only ones still here.

"Morning." I corrected, resisting the urge to flip them off, "They're just jealous you're leaving with me anyway."
