Ritual 1

A few days passed and the day of full moon night arrived. As planned, all the items were delivered to Willow so that she could start preparing for the ritual. The ritual would have been performed long back. But Willow said it has to be performed in the evening of full moon night before Elric would transform into a beast. 

It was still morning and the couple were ready to leave as it would take them six hours to reach the forest. 

Evelyn sighed as she corrected Elric's collar. Her eyes that held excitement a few days ago now were sad. 

"What are you thinking?" Elric asked her, looking at the dismayed eyes. 

Shaking her head, she replied, "Nothing." Just after a few seconds, she lifted her eyes towards him and continued, "Let's abandon the ritual. I don't want you to perform it. And I am ready to live with you, accepting your beast side."
