Remembrance

"Why didn't you inform me at the palace?" Evelyn questioned. 

Few hours later, she along with Elric leave for the council building. All the way, even in the passage she kept on asking about the case. But his response remained the same, "In the council building." 

"It's not safe. You know who the real spies are?" He asked her as they walked towards Mr Simon Aldrich's cabin to report. Anyway, not expecting an answer from her, he added, "The maids and the servants. We rarely doubt them cause all they do is sometimes be around and do their work. But they are the one who have your information so better watch out." 

Evelyn nodded in understanding and said, "You have trust issues." 

"I never deny it," he said sharply. 

She followed him thinking the reason behind his sternness. 

"Don't inform everything to Mr Aldrich like a parrot. Just nod at what I say," he said authoritatively.
