***ADDIE'S POV***
With all this new-found knowledge swimming in my head, I didn't know what else to do. How should I continue? What do I discuss with them next? I was floundering, and I was sure they were able to pick up on it.
"I hate to have wasted your time, Princess Addison, but what I have told you is the truth." King Gentry spoke softly.
"Oh, I do not doubt it." I answered him calmly, but even I could detect the shock in my tone.
"You see, much like the vampires in Zandaire, we have a very small population. No one truly knows how small it is. And again, like the vampires, we have low birthrates." He was explaining their ways to me, an outsider. I knew this meant he had decided to fully trust me, and that helped to calm me quite a bit more.
