**ADDIE'S POV**

I had enjoyed my dance with Nolan. I felt like he had somehow read my mind and knew that I wanted to dance with him. Not only that, but until they made that announcement, I hadn't even noticed that there were professors here.

I also had to wonder why it was that Nolan was here in the first place. I gathered, after I was made aware of them, that the professors were some sort of chaperones. However, did Nolan volunteer for this job, or did he get assigned to it because he was the lowest on the seniority list?

Knowing Nolan and how he would have felt about seeing me dancing with Hollis, I had to go with the latter of my two options. He had to have been assigned to this position because he was new here. I knew that he wouldn't willing come to watch me dance with another man like that. Even if that other man was just a friend.
