**ADDIE'S POV**

"It is good to see you again, Addie. I trust that you are settling into your new room well enough." King Callum spoke to me as he picked up a glass of something red from the table. It looked like it might have been wine, but I didn't smell any alcohol in the room. And it was a little too clear for that. I could clearly see the light passing through it and making it shine.

"I am settling in just fine, thank you. I thank you so much for the wonderful place to stay. It has everything that I could possibly need and more." I gave a friendly smile and waited for some sort of unspoken clue or hint. What did they want me to do? Was I supposed to drink now as well? I mean, King Callum did demonstrate that the drink should be safe enough. However, it was also poured prior to my arrival so I had no idea if it were tampered with at all.
