"… I will always be loyal to her and you. You do not need to worry about me." Those were words that I was happy to hear. I knew that he wouldn't disappoint me. I knew that I would be able to trust Finnick. At least, I had been hoping that I could. And that hope seems to have been well placed.

"Alright Finnick, I will tell you a little more about Addie. As someone that cares about her and vows to keep her secrets, I will trust you with this. But I also want you to know that if you ever violate her trust, or hurt her in any way, you will disappear. And no one will ever be able to find out where you went."

"Uhh." He seemed nervous before he gulped down his fear and confirmed his conviction for me. "D..do not worry, Sir Dominic. I will never hurt Addie. Even if I am not the man that she chooses to be with, I will never hurt her. I promise to always protect her until she is happy."
