(3rd POV)

After the invasion is over, the casualty Konoha suffer were less than in the canon since Orochimaru and Kabuto is dead. Sunagakure also knows that they have been tricked by Orochimaru who later was found dead.

About the sound village... let say it was sucked away by a Blackhole, the only thing visible in the village is nothing but an oddly round crater. And the two culprits are currently stalking a pair of humans and sharks.

Due to Cain's nature, they see his presence as a normal weapon and ignore him most of the time, only Hidan is required to keep her presence down and follow them.

That is about the Hidan part but for Cain, he is currently in his spirit form, looking right into Itachi's normal eyes without the latter's knowing he is being watched by a ghost.

'So that is Itachi and Kisame? Itachi it's the brother of Sasuke and has extremely high mastery over illusions?' Hidan sends a telepathy message while looking at Itachi's face more closely, trying to spot the similarity on his face compared to Sasuke.

'Yeah, he is the type you can't deal with, your mental resistance is extremely low so don't even try to look at his eyes when fighting him. But no need to worry since I already have a solution to counter his Sharingan.'

After a while, Kakashi and Sasuke arrive outside of the store talking about something. Cain uses his spirit form and telekinesis to mess with Kakashi by pulling his mask down which reveal Kakashi's handsome face to Sasuke... and Itachi somehow catches a glimpse of it too.

Both Akatsuki's members leave not long after that, Hidan used her skill to quickly catch up with them and keep a considerable distance from them to not get noticed. And what is Cain doing now?

That lazy ass scythe brings himself to the place first and impales himself somewhere near the building.

'So we gonna wait for the fighting part then jump out then kill them all?' 'Not all of them leave the Konoha's Jounin alone, we only need to get Itachi and Kisame then we will move to... Iwagakure I think? maybe we should try to take dust release from the old man.'

Not long after that, Kurenai and Asuma enter the fight with Itachi and Kisame, Cain did not wait any longer, he opens 4 big portals and takes all of them to his ID: blank

Kakashi later arrives at the scene only to find the remnants of the battle.

"Endless darkness!"

Cain releases his skill right after they enter the ID, covering a huge space black mist.

"What happen?! Asuma, are you there?" Kurenai becomes panicked as soon as she realizes her companion is missing and the surrounding is covered by a thick layer of black mist.

"I'm here, I don't think this is an illusion of Itachi, this mist is real and it's draining my charka!"

On Itachi and Kisame side, the two criminals are rushing to find a way out of the mist as soon as possible, even Kisame who have the amount of charka comparable to a Bijuu feel his charka is depleting pretty fast.

The average speed of a normal Jounin is very fast, they can travel about 5~6miles in 10 minutes so escaping the mist range isn't a problem at all. "Yo, you guys are the first couple to get out of the mist, congratulations, now you are my prey!"

The Akatsuki's members didn't stand there to look any longer, they separated into a different direction as a flame pillar rose from where they just stood.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu"

"Suiton: Suikōdan no Jutsu"

A fireball and water shark were launched at Cain, the 'villain' summon a dark red flame on his hand then slam both his hand on the ground.

The white floor cracked and reveal a glowing spider crater "phoenix eruption!"

BOOM*

A pillar of flame emerges from underground, blocking both incoming attacks in the progress. The flame eventually stopped as the nearby ground melted and become lava.

Not stopping there, Itachi throw another technique at him "Katon: Hōsenka Tsumabeni"

Cain draw the blade of Kusangic and applied Haki on the blade, reflecting every fire shurikens. On the other hand, Kisame used Samehada to attack Cain but was blocked by Cain's black hand.

"I see you have quite interesting technique there, but catching Samehada's blade isn't a good idea since it wasn't for slashing, it uses for-"

"for shredding right? that will only happen if you have enough strength to pull it away from my hand," Cain said as he used his strength to pull both the sword and the shark down.

"Ha, that is some crazy raw power you have there, but that won't be enough! Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha" Kisame spew out a large amount of water, making Cain lose his balance and drop the sword.

The water then forms into a big water ball, trapping both of them inside it.

According to logic, Cain should be drowned by now since he has eaten a devil fruit BUT he is a fucking weapon, what do you expect? He can't even float on water! He doesn't even require to breathe, he is using telekinesis to support his body in the water right now.

Samehada and Kisame fused, making Kisame become more shark looking and giving him a significant boost in power. "Now I don't know what to call you anymore, a dude? A shark? Or a shark bro?"

Kisame laugh loudly at Cain's joke "you got some nerve there, still able to keep calm in this situation, you should know that water is the shark's territory right? you are now my prey."

"I know, but that only applies to a normal human, after all..." Cain smirks, he opens his palm with his glowing crimson

"I'm a suicide-type gamer! Phoenix explosion!" a powerful explosion emerge from his palm, vaporizing all of the water surrounding him.

Kisame was caught in the explosion at very close range, even he has improved physique from fusing with Samahada, it still knocked him unconscious.

Cain walks out of the smoke unharmed, he reaches for the sword and stores it inside of his inventory.

Itachi didn't stand there and watch his friend get roasted, he immediately rush in when he saw Kisame get knocked out. At first, he believes that Kisame could handle the mysterious man but he has underestimated Cain a lot.

"Now it's only you left, are you ready Uchiha Itachi? I will bring your... eyes to your brother if you are dead." Itachi doesn't bother to talk about it and starts attacking, during the fight, Cain never opens his eyes but he is still able to dodge all of Itachi's attacks.

How? It's because Cain isn't using his body's eyes to see, he is using his scythe's eyes to see, the original body is impaled somewhere near the battle.

(Cain POV)

Hehe, using my shared vision this way is... complicated I have to say. While my eyes in human form are closed, the eyes in the scythe will replace it if I want to and even if he manages to figure it out somehow, I still have a UNO reverse card in my hand!

For the past... 5 minutes, we have been fighting with purely Taijutsu and Ninjutsu... nothing special to be honest since his main power is Genjutsu and Sharingan.

"Oi Itachi, why don't you show me that Mangekyou Sharingan of your already... fighting like this isn't fun at all." The main reason I'm fighting with him in such a long battle like this is only for a reason: The sword of Totsuka, I wanted that blade and merge it with Kusanagi somehow, maybe I can get a powerful sword after that.

The sword of Totsuka is a strong sword on its own with the power of sealing that can even seal a soul, that is the most important function of it.

About his Sharingan, I doubt that I could do some eyes-transplant to make them my own since I'm a fucking weapon, it was tied to his bloodline so... I can always hope for the best, right?

"Amaterasu!" Oh, he finally used it! but why it's Amaterasu... I won't burn to death right

... yeah, I think I'm okay. I can see Itachi's shocked face from here, the flame kinda blocking my vision, that is annoying.

"Dark blade x100" Is that a bit too much? Nah I don't think so.

"Susanoo!" finally, he has used it! Only at the skeletal form but it should still count, right?

"I won't hold back any longer, if I use Sharingan for too long I won't have enough time for Sasuke." Oi Itachi, I can even hear you mumble from here if you don't know, I know you are a good brother but I want you to die okay? I don't want you to pull power of family and friendship shit here.

"Sword of Totsuka!" Here it comes! "Blackhole: Palm-size!"

... What do I expect? He is literally the chaos itself, by the way, didn't I already devour their soul? How come I can revive them?

{I took the same souls from an alternate version to here, there won't be any problem since most of them are the same}

Nice to know, now I need to go back to see Hidan, I can feel that she is eating out of boredom.
