Cyrus Blackbones' phone rang and the alpha apologized before pulling out the device and looking at the screen. The name that appeared left him a little apprehensive. He glanced at his brother who was busy exchanging small talk with the dean of Red Creek and unlocked the screen to answer.

The Green Lake leader's interlocutor didn't bother with pointless statements or questions and, right after a quick yet polite greeting, he gave him the answer to the question the alpha had asked him. The words immediately provoked a smile that softened the werewolf's features. He looked at his brother and after a pause, he answered.

"Thank you for your generosity. We'll talk about the details later if you don't mind. I'm currently at Red Creek academy."

Cyrus hung up after a few polite words and chuckled, staring at his screen for a moment. He walked back to the two werewolves and interrupted them.
