The food was OK. It took some time to travel down my throat not because it tasted nefarious but only due to the company. This was a bad kind of couples retreat. Lucien was thankfully silent and Sheila behaved. The only person who wasn't self conscious was Lucien's daughter. How I loved that little girl. If I had ever pictured myself pregnant she was exactly the kind of kid I will have. She looked a little lost as a child should be between adults having to behave but secretly want to run around the chairs.

"Mara what do you think?", asked Rayzan.

"Hmm sorry. About what?", I asked.

"About playing some games. Our dinner is already finished and we hardly talked so Sheila is suggesting we play truth or dare", explained Rayzan.
