2132: NIRVANA

Prologue

"It's a Boy." She says.

I stand over the only one except for my love that I care about in this world, my pup and heir. The one to inherit the power from the moon goddess, his cries were evermore resounding in our minds.

"He looks like you," I say to her, "But his eyes, are of mine".

"Of course his eyes are yours, he looks like trouble already doesn't he Marcus". She says to remind me of the times before I met her.

"Old times are past, he will understand when he finds his mate. My dear, Olivia."

As I bend down to kiss her on her forehead, I hear a sound, coming from outside the cabin, I would've known ascent was here and I've been listening for any noises. How is that possible?!

"Wait here," I say then turn over to look past the door. I hope this isn't what it means.

The door bursts open as I grab my weak mate as she clutches out child, I cant turn to deal with them and I hear their growls. I run towards the nearest town close to the cabin, they were catching up, these bastards.

Before I could reach the barrier towards the town, there was a figure that sidestepped to my front view. I couldn't fight in this situation, I noticed it bring out a dagger and try to stab forward…in this situation I could only dodge but failed as it cuts through my sides, I run at the top of my lungs, my speed was greatly reduced carrying her and my son.

Once I reached the town, I found a random house to put her into, I couldn't leave without telling this her,

"If anything happens, just keep him safe, but know this. I will come to your side, live or die by your side."

She looks into my eye, she knows exactly what I mean, and she starts to tear up, the cries coming down her face even after going through all that pain a few minutes ago.

"Just come back to me, come back to us Please."

" I will, I promise."

As I turn my back to her, I wish I could reassure her, for the first time in my life with her, I am about to break a promise and to me, this breaks me more than anything in the world.

I shift into my wolf, the anger, the sadness, all the emotion that I feel right now as I leave all to my wolf.

As I watch him leave me, I could feel it deep within me, he's not coming back.

I turn to the door and knock. I bang it as much as I could until I heard a noise inside.

The door opens and a blonde woman looks down at me in shock, her eyes gazing at my son and back at me,

" Please, take him. Please take him and run, keep him safe."

"No no no, we can't. We cannot interfere in whatever is going on here" she says in a hurry to close the door

" If you don't take him, they will still kill everyone here to keep everything a secret. You can run, you can run now with him as I go help give you time to. But please just take him. I beg you". This time I couldn't take it. I was going to lose my mate and if she doesn't take him and run, my son too. I can't bear it.

"Ahhh h uh hm okay okay. I will." She takes him in a hurry and closes the door, I could hear a series of arguments between her and the male indoors ranging from how they'll leave here to where they can run to with the child.

In the end, they immediately choose to run off to the next town, and I thank the moon Goddess for this.

I weakly stand and stumble, I have to get to him, the joy and love playing in my mind about everything that's happened since we met till our son. I shift into my wolf who's been trying to comfort me from within, but as soon as I shift, wants to go back for our son. I immediately remind her that he's safe but our mate is alone.

She stops to think but immediately regains her composition and immediately jogs off to our mate, glancing back at the house to make sure he is safe.

I hope he grows up strong and remembers what is important, I want to be there when you grow up but I can't. I'm sorry son. If I can, I would be there, we love you.
