In a few hours from now me and a team of highly trained soldiers will land on the planet that gave birth to the human race earth. I have had butterflies in my stomach since I was hand picked for this mission along with 35 other soldiers who provided to be up to the task 2 years of training in combat sims and first aid, this will be the first time since 2041 that any human has stepped foot on earth after the human/gray war back in 2029 I'm so damn nervous cause of the unknowns I'm about to face, we plan on taking back our home hopefully they don't make short work of us but we have a few tricks up our sleeve to reclaim our home.. hopefully. You all know why you were hand picked each of you are the best of the best Allan says proudly, the superiors dubbed you the Elite 36 for a reason now go down there and get our home back, we all cheer, as I head to my mech Hina runs up wrapping her arms around me and kisses me see you down there babe, I kiss her back same to you sweetheart as I run my fingers through her hair I love you I softly say to Hina, I love you to Hina says pulling me closer to her I better see you down there Hina says licking my neck, don't worry you will babe I giggle as she let's me go and we get into our mechs, airlock opens in 3,2,1 as all 36 of us are launched towards earth I can't help but think about the stories about earth that the elders would always share when I was young on the Star chaser which was one of the biggest ships in the Sol colonies and now in a matter of minutes I'm about land on the planet where it all started.
