Rewards; Finally, I'm Home! (1)

Hey, Shun here!

Rewards has always been a great thing to have, especially after accomplishing something. Some people would even reward themselves for accomplishing the goals that they set for themselves.

(Shun's POV)

Morning came, and I woke up to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. Looking around, many feathers are scattered all over the floor and the entire bed that you'd think many birds has been murdered yesterday inside this room.

"Ah, why is it so hot in here? I thought I opened the air conditioner last night?" I murmured to myself while feeling the heat that was coming from my chest and my sides.

Well, the reason why all these feathers were scattered was because we stayed up pretty late having a pillow fight. It was really fun yesterday night since sometimes, one of us would get hit by the pillow that Pochi or Tama was swinging and we'd end up crashing on the bed like we got hit by a truck.

"Mmm… Meat-san~? Can Pochi have moooar~?"

"Nooo~… This is Tama's meat~?"

"Eh?"

Looking down, I saw Pochi and Tama who were both sticking extremely close to me. So that's where the heat I was feeling came from.

I bet these two are having a dream about meat again. Shaking my head, I carefully extricated myself out of their hugs before covering the two with the blanket.

'I'm getting quite skilled in getting myself out of bed without making any noise, aren't I?' I thought to myself while smiling wryly.

"Come to think of it, Rokuko, Ritsu, and Mutsuko aren't here. They were with us when we slept yesterday night. I wonder where they are now?" Whilst muttering those words to myself, I entered inside the bathroom just a few steps away from the bedroom and freshened up.

When I got out of the bathroom, I saw that Pochi is already half awake. She's already sitting upright, trying to wake up Tama.

"Tama~… Wake up nanodesu~. We will be late for breakfast nodesu~…" her voice is still cracking a little due to her having just woken up but it was loud enough for our resident cat beastkin to hear her and wake up as well.

"Breakfast~? What is breakfaaaast~?" Tama asked while rubbing her eyes.

"It's meat steak and vegetable ramen nodesu~? Mutsuko-oneechan and Rokuko-oneechan said they'll cook today, remember nanodesu~?"

As if she just remembered that, Tama stopped on her tracks while showing a surprised expression.

"Ah, ai~!"

Hee~, so that's why Rokuko and Mutsuko are not here, huh. I guess Ritsu also came down with them early. I don't see Tsuka and Fenny anywhere as well so they should be there, too.

Well, we should hurry up and go down, then.

"Pochi, Tama, go and freshen up. We'll all go downstairs together."

"Ah! Okaaay~!"

"Okaay~, nanodesu!"

The two were surprised by me suddenly calling out to them but they immediately got up and, after hugging me, they both went inside the bathroom. After saying that I'll go wait for them outside, I went out of the room.

Man, there are many other rooms in this house but we rarely even used it since they all wanted to sleep with me. Thankfully, Rokuko and Mutsuko have more self-restraint and only joined us when there was some occasion like yesterday these days but, there was a time when all of them would just join me while ignoring the fact that they're sleeping with a teenage guy.

It was honestly hard for me, in more ways than one. Thankfully, I am probably only a few steps away from becoming a monk myself.

'I could probably find the secret to immortality if I could find in myself how I am able to restrain myself this much…' I thought to myself jokingly.

Whilst my head was filled with such idiotic thought so early in the morning, the two finally came out of the room, all freshened up. Well, their bed hair are all over the place though.

I think they already combed it but it's still kinda there. If this was the previous them when we just entered inside this dimension, they would probably just leave them be and not even try to comb them.

They're also more tidy than before and their attempts at trying to act lady-like all the time and failing to do so is also very cute.

Once we reached the living room, we caught a whiff of an aromatic smell coming from the kitchen. When we went there to check, we saw the two who are hyper focused on cooking the dishes.

Rokuko is currently wearing a frilly pink colored apron over a grey colored camisole. Her hair is styled in a loose french braid and she's wearing a very short shorts that leaves only a few things to the imagination.

Rokuko is not really the type of girl to fuss about her clothing too much but, these days, she's been a little interested in the style of clothes that other people wear. She rarely dresses like this though as she would rather wear those clothes that are more on the conservative side.

She does seem to be a little influenced by the modern type of clothing but the deep rooted medieval-ish type of clothing is still her choice of clothing. I'm still surprised at the fact that she actually chose to dress up like that, even if we're at home.

As for Mutsuko, she's wearing a t-shirt and shorts, with a blue colored apron over it. Her long black hair is tied loosely in a low pony tail and her usually cheerful expression was nowhere to be seen.

Is this what they call gap moe? I thought to myself while looking at the two girls who are uncharacteristically extremely serious at what they're doing right now.

"Let's go wait for them at the dining table." I whispered to the two who are looking on at the older girls in awe.

Speaking of the dining table, I didn't notice it until now but, it looks like Ritsu, Fenny, and Tsuka are there already. Ritsu is currently trying to study Fenny and Tsuka's 'language' so she's been interacting with them more as of late.

"Squeak~, squeak~! Meat steak~, Tsuka likes, steaks too~!"

"Squeak, Squeak…? Tsuka-sama, likes steaks, too…?"

"Hmm? Squeak~? What does that 'squeak' mean?"

I see that she's still having a hard time on that. Well, do your best.

Right after we had our breakfast, everybody gathered at the living room as we engaged in a conversation with topics that couldn't be any more random. One moment we were talking about breakfast then the next moment we were talking about a president getting impeached in this country and that country and etc.

"Ah, Pochi can't wait to see her rewards nodesu! Pochi wants a Math Mastery nanodesu!" Pochi suddenly exclaimed when the topic about our rewards was brought up.

Pochi is bad at numbers so I guess it's kinda understandable why she wanted such a skill. Some of our classmates would die to have such a skill as well, I think.

"Tama wants more knife technique~!"

While Pochi wanted to be better at school, Tama, on the other hand, wanted to be better at fighting. Although she got her full equipment from [NWO], Tama thinks that her fighting skills is just sub par.

The main reason for that is probably because she is having a hard time landing hits on Karasuma-sensei and Koro-sensei despite having used her skills, especially the [Sakura Ninja's Hidden Technique] and her previously acquired [Shadow Shinobi] skill. I already told her this but, I think the problem with her is that she can't conceal her intentions as much yet.

So long as she can learn how to conceal her intentions, killing intent if you may, as well as her presence, I think she could become a deadly presence in the battle field. The skills she have are already great, she just needs more practice.

As we were just starting to talk about the possible skills we could get from this world that's not really that different from any other normal world aside from a few human turned tentacle monsters, we suddenly heard our doorbell ring.

"Looks like they arrived." Mutsuko said while standing up from her seat.

Accompanied by Pochi and Tama, they all went outside to welcome our guests. Moments later, they arrived with three new people in tow, that being Yukiko-san, Rinka-san, and Touka-san.

"Yaa, good thing you finally arrived. Everyone was just beginning to get impatient about their rewards…" I said jokingly before telling them to join us.

Rokuko already went to the kitchen to bring out some snacks and drinks, with our two bunnies and two beastkins in tow.

"We were actually planning to go earlier since Rinka wanted to visit Tsuka and Fenny immediately…"

"Touka!"

Oh, yeah, Rinka-san does love cute things. To be honest, that would really be hard to tell if you only ever see her wearing her could facade.

Yukiko-san, upon seeing Touka-san try to tease Rinka-san, covered her mouth with her hands, trying to suppress her giggles.

"Fufufu, she was really excited to go here. In fact, she was the one who woke us up…" Yukiko-san added.

At this point, Rinka-san was already extremely flustered. Her face was slowly turning red and I could probably see some smoke coming out of her head anytime soon.

Seeing that she might just faint out of embarrassment or something, I decided to divert everyone's attention.

"Well, how about we open our rewards now? I bet you are also excited to know what your rewards will be."

Just as I said that, our snacks arrived, as well as the drinks that was being carried by Rokuko, Pochi, and Tama. Fenny and Tsuka are carrying one bag of chips each. It was really cute how they are trudging behind the three while trying hard not to drop the bag of chips they're carrying.

Once they all arrived, they returned to their seats while Fenny got snatched by Rinka-san. Fenny, as well as Rokuko, didn't really mind what happened.

Fenny and Tsuka are already pretty familiar with not only Rinka-san but Touka-san and Yukiko-san as well, that's why Fenny didn't mind Rinka-san suddenly snatched her. Her Master always does this so you could say that she's already used to it.

While sipping some juice, everyone took out their smartphones. Aside from the usual bonus that we got for completing the side quests, we also got an extra [Random Rewards Coupon].

Fishing out my own smartphone from my pocket, I also opened up my [Random Rewards Coupon]…
