※~・Arc 11: A Normal Dimension And A Normal World? …Or Is It?・~※

Aside from some moments when everything that you could see is just the thing that caught your attention the most, it seems like Peripheral Vision Loss(PVL) or Tunnel Vision is some kind of illness.

I didn't know about it until I searched for it. There's many reasons for having it like glaucoma but I wonder why it happens to people who doesn't have it? This probably has something to do with our eye's functions, isn't it?

(Shun's POV)

Once we were done coming up with our game plan, we immediately went into formation and started to initiate the plan. Satania-san buffed the [Windbreaker's Silver Longbow] that I was holding.

""Flame Enchant — Flame Turn"!" This resulted in my [Windbreaker's Silver Longbow] having that flaming glow which tells me that my weapon is now enchanted with fire magic damage and wind magic damage. This was because of the default wind magic damage that my weapon have and now Satania-san's flame enchantment.

With our preparations done, I took out two [Iron Arrows] one with a (+10) and the other without it. I loaded my single arrow towards a point in the flaming pillar where I felt like it was the best location to attack it.

Since my weapon now embues fire and wind magic damage to my arrows, it would be the best weapon to stop this whirling flame pillar. Focusing myself, I aimed at that point I decided on.

"Everyone, after I fire this shot, follow it up immediately okay?"

""""Ou!""""

After taking a deep breath, I released the arrow that I was holding.

""Enchant"— Intelligence! "Bow Skill — Gust of Wind"! "Cursed"— Intelligence!" The moment I releases my [Arts], I also casted a [Curse] towards the young beast that I could barely see due to it being right in the middle of a swirling flame pillar.

I then reapplied the enchant I casted for all of us. It was a SPEED, INTELLIGENCE, AND MIND [Enchant]. The reason for waiting before casting another enchant was there to eliminate the large gap effect caused by the effects expiring at the same time and not to have it all consume MP at the same time.

The flame pillar noticably lowered in power when I managed to land a curse on it. Unfortunately, I still couldn't make out what's exactly going on in there.

Immediately after the shot connected to the flaming pillar, a pained roar echoed all throughout the surroundings, followed by waves of flames that came towards us. This further minimized the flames that was scattering towards the surroundings but, this might put everyone here in danger.

We also need to disperse the flames immediately or else, I and Mutsuko-san won't be able to observe it.

"Everyone, after casting your spells and attacks, hide from a safe distance! Tsuka, give your onee-chans [Wind Protection]!"

"Yes, Master! "Wind, Protection"! "Little, Tornado" and, "Quick Blast"~!"

"—"Fire Ball"! "Flame Lance", Go!"

"Ha-yaaah!"

Along with Tsuka and Satania-san's attacks, Mutsuko threw many greatswords towards the target, which surprised me. I mean, that works as well.

I then followed all of their incoming attacks with the (+10) [Iron Arrows], casting [Rapid Fire Bow — Shotgun Barrage], [Lower Matter Conversion], and [Bow Skill — Homing Arrows].

Then, as our attacks hit the target one by one, something surprising happened…

The little azure and white colored snakes who has been watching us from the sidelines up until now opened up their mouths and, gradually, a beam of azure and white colored light gathered in front of their little mouths. It was tiny but I thought, the young animals were trying to help so why not?

Thus, while trying to avoid the flames and helping Satania-san and Mutsuko-san repel some of it, I also tried to be as stable as possible in my movements. It seems like they only need to charge their attacks for a few seconds as after that, a small torrent of what seems to be liquid and an azure colored fire was released from the beam that the little azure colored snake was preparing.

The white one, on the other hand, released a white colored gust of wind, accompanied by the constantly rumbling and crackling white streaks of lightning. Whoah, that was totally unexpected.

When all of our [Spells] and [Arts] all connected, the flame bursted open and we could finally see what's in the middle of the pillar of flames.

Since this will probably be the only chance we have at cracking that flame pillar easily, I immediately took action.

""Enchant"— Speed! Mutsuko-san! Sorry but, we're kind of in a hurry." After apologizing to Mutsuko-san who was evidently confused, I carried her in my arms before I started dashing towards the young beast who seems to be confused as of right now.

"Eh!? What are you doing Shun-kun!?"

"If we run towards the young beast normally, it will take a lot of time so carrying you there would be the fastest way!"

"Eeeeeeeeeh!?" Although this would be the first time I'm seeing Mutsuko-san flustered, I have no time to appreciate the sight. Thankfully, my mind moves fast and has saved this moment in my memory.

The moment we arrived in front of the young beast, I once again applied a curse in its intelligence. Then, as my eyes roamed around the young beast in search of something wrong about this young beast.

Then, I spotted something amiss, on the equipment. Although it looks beautiful on the outside, my instincts immediately told me that something was wrong about this one and had Mutsuko-san to inspect it.

"Hey, Mutsuko-san! There's no time to be dazed right now! Quick, check that equipment and send me the effects and stats! We need to act quick!"

"O-Okay! Geez, why are you so pushy today, Shun-kun!"

After Mutsuko-san took a look at the equipment that was on one of the young beast's paws, she immediately sent me the equipment's description.

Whoever sick dude wanted to try and experiment on what the effects of his loot were, I'm pretty sure he's one of the people who died when the flames started. That guy's not thinking when he did this, for sure.

Who in their right mind would use their beast companion as an experimental subject anyway? That aside, I need to dispel this curse, fast.

"Umm, Shun-kun? Could you let me down now?"

"Wait, I'm thinking here, Mutsuko-san. We'll talk later…"

I didn't understand what Mutsuko-san was talking about at the time since I was focusing too much at the case at hand. First, I need to cancel out the [Berserk] status effect that the ring is giving to this young beast even for a few seconds.

""Calm Mind"." I casted one of the spells I learned when I gained the [Healing Magic] Sense. It removes the berserk, sleep, stunned, anger, and confusion status effects. Basically, it's a spell that encapsulates the effects of [Cool Down] and [Reset] spells that the [Recovery Magic] provides.

To thoroughly remove the curse, I have two options. Either risk battling this young beast or just use a stronger dispel spell to remove the [Curse 3] in its status altogether. The drawback of this is that the one who was hit by this spell will be subject to the respawn debuff for three hours.

In this young beast's case, I don't think the debuff will matter as much since I bet it will be down for the count after all of this. It's mind is lowered so much and it's been using too much mana, after all.

With that in mind, I casted the spell on the young beast.

""Heavenly Grace"…"

Once I casted the spell, the curse counter placed on the young beast went from 3 to nil immediately. This is a strong dispel after all. Strong curses could be removed immediately with the use of this spell. Well, not like it wouldn't come with no consequences.

Immediately after the curse placed upon the young beast was removed, the bracelet that was on one of the young beast's paws slid down. I wanted to pick it up immediately but someone took it first.

"Can I have this [Admin] Shun-san? I wanna add it to my collection." It was Kaede-san. I didn't notice that she arrived. Probably because I was too focused on the matter at hand.

"You want to collect cursed equipments?"

"I mean, it looks kinda unique. There's angel wings in it after all…"

"Angel wings? There's clearly a skull in it though?" The moment a voice coming from just right beside me echoed in my ears, I suddenly remembered that I was still carrying Mutsuko-san.

"Oh! Dang, I totally forgot to release you, Mutsuko-san. Sorry about that." I slowly put her down while Kaede-san was still immersed in looking at the equipment in her hand.

"I-It's fine, Shun-kun. Yeah… ANYWAY, Kaede-san, that thing have skulls all over its design. It doesn't have any angel wings or anything."

"Eh? But I could see that it has angel wings though?"

"Heeeh~. So that's why this fellow devilkin was forced into an enraged state huh. Angelic equipments are bad for us devils you know?"

This time, it was Satania-san who arrived. The moment she got near us, she took a glance at the bracelet before picking up the young beast, cradling it within her arms with absolute care.

"Poor guy. Don't worry, I will teach you how to be a better devil so that even Angel equipments can't harm you! From now on, you are a member of our prestigious Kurumizawa Clan! Us two will then use our strong command in hell's flames to dominate this world of Only Sense Online! A-hahahaha!"

Right after Satania-san, I felt someone tugging on my sleeves so I looked behind me. There, I saw Fenny, Tsuka, Pochi, Tama, and Rokuko who are looking at me with stars in their eyes.

"Master [Admin], ama-ziing?"

"You were so ama-ziing Master [Admin-sensei] desu! You were pa-cha! And Kapow nodesu! And, and! You were very veeery ama-ziing nanodesu! Pochi saw it all, nanodesuyo!?"

"Master's Master… Ama-ziing???" No, you don't have to try and copy Pochi and Tama, Fenny.

"Master, very cool. Tsuka, approves~?" Hey, where did you learn that, Tsuka?

"Good job out there, partner! As expected of my partner, you were so amazing!"

Before I even noticed it, everyone from our guild was already here. Heck, even the young beasts that accompanied us are having their own type of conversation just near us.

Man, I tunnel visioned too much, didn't I?

"Well, atleast everything was solved now! Everyone, let's go help everyone who still needs help in here then let's go back to our camp!" I shouted in high spirits to gather everyone's attention.

※ Alright. With this, another (important) event that was listed in my notepad is crossed out. This leaves the major boss battle, as well as Mutsuko's and the others young beast companion now. Since there will really be nothing important that will be happening until the boss fight aside from grinding and monster hunting, I will be glossing over some stuffs.
