I obviously didn't read fanfics for an original story but I also didn't come to read a play by play copy of the original with slight changes. Some made a Harry Potter develop magic into space travel just from the innovation of the original spells. Some made an Izuku that didn't inherit One for All. He cultivated his studies instead and made an Ironman suit. Those people actually made changes. What is the actual worth of a character who does exactly what the original did because he was too scared to change the timeline?? An mc who despite has the ability to use any kind of energy (any kind of magic in existence) since he was born, he magically never tried to use it nor train it. He could've save his mom, he could've played the beta of OSO but he never did because a someone is too insecure to actually change something. This is an unrealistic fantasy of someone who wants to ride the coattails of the original mc because they don't have the confidence of being great despite all the world breaking powers they wished for. I expected a fanfic not a copy of the original on a less talented mc. And yeah, I dropped it.
Hays... Really?? Is this gonna be a cliche "copy original mc but add stuff just to make it oc"? Because it's pretty stupid not to know Only Sense Online before his friend told it to him if his parents keeps bringing it up. He already knows what world he's on and just judging from the name of the world that has "online" in it, it would be freakin obvious that it's a game. The moment the cliche happens where the mc copies what the original mc did, I'm gonna drop this. This are the things that happened in the original: -joined a game because of his friend -went together with his sisters -accidentally turned his character into a girl -became an archer craftsman build If the author just followed the same way the original played, then I wouldn't count on the story to be great. If the mc already possessed unfathomable advantages only for him to be "just a little stronger" the than original mc, little enough that the story didn't even change from it, then the mc is trash. It would've been better to keep the original mc who would've been stronger if was the one with the advantages.
