A lich in the making, and someone who could kill their entire party in a single hit. He summoned a scythe from thin air, but instead of a blade on one end and nothing on the other, it had a second blade on the other end, facing the opposite way. It lowered the already weak defenses of the scythe in return for more area of effect and offense options in close quarters.

"Alright everyone, if you didn't know every 10 racal levels you get the opportunity to clear out old skills you don't use, and you get rewarded for doing so with evolutions or levels to other skills or straight up stats. I'm one of the prime examples of deleting all of my non-vital skills for more stats. That's how I was able to get almost 3,000 stats pre-items. That and I can buy stat points with souls but whatever. We can talk about that once we have open lectures."

Shapeshifter levels gave transfurmation slots rather than skill points, so it made sense that he had almost no skills outside of his transformations. He had unlocked two regular transformations, but the passive boss potential intrigued Jake, so he asked about it.

"Ummm… It says it doesn't do anything until it evolves, but then I have a chance to turn one of my summons into a boss."

The professor buds it.

"Are you aware that it's free to pick transfurmations? It's not like you lose anything for having a mostly useless one is a bad thing."

"I-I know, but my passive lets me kinda choose from a wider pool, but I need to b-be stronger."

"Alright, but with the bat and bear you should be fine for the end of the month."

Another spectacular performance, having the passive war hero meaning that he was already in a war in the last month and a half. He also was very clearly strong as the others, and wouldn't have a hard time matching up to Criss, Ray, or even Jaylen.

Discouraged, Jake decided that the best way to catch up was to use the time distortion caused by the cultivation world to cultivate as well as run dungeons with Lexy or his party members. As sad as it made him to be so weak compared to his peers this meant that even if he tried even harder he wouldn't shine too much so people wouldn't look into him.

He wanted to get to the market, but figured he would pop into the cultivation world to raise his stats again. He sat down on a bench and used a drop of sleeping potion. But when he woke up something unexpected happened.

Jake of course accepted, taking the map going into the mountains. He couldn't let anyone see him go but people weren't exactly used to seeing him anyway him being new and part of a large sect. The mountains were entirely filled to the brim with tree's.

The trees were all different colors with mostly translucent leaves until he reached a small waterfall. It was only two feet off the ground so it looked more like a stream than anything, but it was thick enough to hide whatever was behind it.

He stuck his hand into the waterfall and grabbed hold of a metal handle and pulled out an old wooden chest. It did require a key or anything, just a basic box that wouldn't attract any attention even if someone else found it. When he opened it up there was a katana, three books, a small sack of gems and a few bars of metal.
