I was so confused when I read this chapter, but then I realized that he is 11 when he is on the train and the rest of chapter is a flashback to when he got his past memories at 5. Then is the timeline from 5 to his present at 11? The past tense and present tense where throwing me off sometimes.

Using Google translate I can understand about the Grammer being messed up but the last paragraph is just confusing. He talks about what he did over the years and all of a sudden he's in the train going to hogwarts and meeting harry. Like wha? What about his wand and him buying his stuff.
