Chapter 53

“You’re serious, aren’t you Cub?” Bear sat up in the bed.

“Why do you think I’m so upset?” Brian crawled over Bear and sat down on his lap with one leg on either side. “We’ve got to help him. He can’t have waited so long to get Cisco only to be maimed by one of his own patients.”

“I’ll mention this to Cisco.” Bear hugged Brian. “Now I want you to settle in my arms and go to sleep or the next spanking you get will be punishment.”

“You’ll tell Cisco, Papa.” Brian mumbled.

“I said I’d take care of it, now go to sleep.” Bear grumbled.

Brian lay down on top of Bear and closed his eyes.

“Reed, I’m telling you there is something wrong with him. Patrick set off all of Brian’s Spidey senses.” Jim pounded his pillow for the third time. “Remember he was right about Caleb,” Jim said as Reed pulled his head out from under his pillow.

“If I say I’ll talk to Cisco, will you let me make love to you and then go to sleep?” Jim flounced out of the bed.
