Twice during the past week, she’d woken in a cold sweat, after having had dreams of being with Michael. Of holding her, caressing her, and having Michael return the affection. In one dream, Michael had been her teacher, her trainer, but this time, she was not learning martial arts…

Cam wrenched her thoughts from her dreams as Michael commented upon the moonlight and the heat. As ever, Cam became enthralled by the beautiful sound of her accent. Soon, Cam was asking questions just to hear Michael’s voice, and the conversation remained light and very easy.

First, they talked about the Olympic Games that had taken place that past winter in Lake Placid, New York.
