Colin rose and stood straight, throwing his shoulders back. “It’s time I got ready for our visitors. Sharon—help me up the stairs. And Sean, you find a photo of Danny Carmody.”
Sean nodded and sat at the desk his grandfather had vacated. Searching the internet for photos of Danny, he came upon the wedding announcement—head shots of both Danny and Evan. He selected Danny’s photo and sent it to the printer.
His vision narrowed as he stared at the photo of Evan—the bastard was smirking at him from the screen, laughing as he threatened to take everything. Sean’s hand hovered over the mouse. It would be so easy. Just one click. And, oh, what a tragic mistake, what a blow. In fact, the shock might just be enough to convince Grandda to retire. And Sean would be there to pick up the pieces and carry on the family business.
