CHAPTER 23 : TAKE A TEST TO GET SOME RESULTS (2)

"Everyone get prepared for the battle!!!" The boss shouted.

"Why??" I asked him.

"Don't you see they are zombies." "!!!"

They are zombies??!! There are hundreds of them!!!!

I took out my sword as everyone prepared for the battle.

"Damn I am sure they are more than two hundred!!!" Tony shouted.

"AAAHHH They are disgusting!!!" Krithi shouted. As if any monster is not disgusting.

"Boss!! Why dont we avoide them?" Happi asked him. Yes I too think that's a good question.

"We have to fight them now or afterwords anyway. So if we fight thhem now we can dind their weakness." The boss said that cleaning his super sharp blade.

"Everyone charge!!" After listening to him we started running towards them. The more near I go the more number of zombies I see. What the hell even happened here?!!

"GRRRR" The zombies started coming towards us as we were going them.

SWOOSH Everyone started attacking the Zombies with their weapons and magic. I have to save my magic as my magic power is less.

SOOSHH I swinged my sword towards a  zombie "Huh??" It did not even cut through their skin!!? Damn it. I pulled back my sword AAAHH this gives me no other choice!!!

[SKILL 'ELECTRIC BEAD' BEEN ACTIVATED]

I throwed it towards them BZZZZZ "What the!!". Damn it I forgot!! they are non-living bodies with my current magic I cannot shock them until they are burnt.

Damn it [YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE SKILL 'ELECTRIC TOUCH']

Damn Damn I have to wait till the sword gets heated up. BURNNNN "!!" oh its Happi!! he is helping me. I showed my thumbs up as my sword heated.

Now there is no backing down till my mana reaches it's end!!!

I started swinging my sword moving through the gaps between the zombies. As I have experienced some situations which are more dangerous I could easily fight with these slow moving puppets.

FLASH [YOUR 'MANA' HAS BEEN DECREASED]

Yeah I know that but if I stop here I will die here.

BOOOM! huh? Happi is using a magic that is of other level!! How did he become so strong??! Wait... am I the one who did not grow while they were all gaining skills?

Damn it that's what it means to be a high bread Arcaner huh?

FLASH[YOUR 'MANA' HAS BEEN DECREASED]

FLASH[YOUR 'STRENGTH' HAS BEEN DECREASED]

What?!! Even my strength!!? Man!!! I think when everyone levels up I level down huh? 

But....but I feel like I have grown stronger as it became easy to cut through these zombies. I didn't notice but I don't feel tired after using my mana for this much time.

But I don't feel like we are working as a team as everyone is battling in their own way.

Happi was using so many fire skills which are effective on zombies. He was like dancing in fire using his hands. Man are fire Arcaners this cool??!! Even Krithi looks cool using fire!!

Tony looks like he is more enjoying punching zombies with his bare hands. He even had a bright smile on his face. Ooh that freaked me out but any way he is cool too.

But what about our boss? "Rishi move!!!" Huh? Why is he in the air? Wait he is jumping towards me!!!! I jumped away from that place. "Huff" BOOOM!!! "!!!" What the hell!!!? "What type of Arcane is it!!!!" I shouted in surprise as he made many zombies into ashes.

"I will leave that to your imagination. Hehehe." Damn that's not something you should say while laughing.

Damn it am I the only one who is weak??!! Then I have to do something. Hehehe I have something up my sleeve as well. I pushed the button under my sword. CLICK CLICH CLICH Everybody started looking towards me. Oh don't worry it's not something dangerous.

CLEEERKKK "That's coo man!! What is that?!" Happi was shocked seeing my sword.

"Hehehe. As I said I upgraded my sword." I said as my sword transformed into a chain sword.

A sword is used for short range attacks but a chain sword can be used for short ranges as well as long range attacks. I don't know how I know to use this sword I think it's most likely because of the dream in the past but it's good for me that I can use this weapon as it's very difficult to handle.

Any way I am the one who designed it as Sara would never make a sword without the user's thoughts but SWOOSH BOOMM "Damn it!!" It was stronger than I expected.

The range is more than I expected. Just how much talent does she have?!! To do this much damage for just a light swing?

Now come at me you freaks!!! I started running towards them. As my range was high and they were slow I can deal much more damage than before. So I can beat dozens of them at a time.

Slowly the number of enemies decreased as we were fighting and the whole ground was covered by a pile of rotten burnt bodies all over.

As the fight was finished we went inside a building to take some rest. Everyone sat down on the ground and started cleaning their weapons.

"Everyone is unscratched right?" We all nodded to what the boss asked. Seeing us he was released.

I will take a quick look at my stats as I am free for now. [STATS WINDOW].

FLASH '!!!!? What the hell does this mean??'

What the hell??!! I clearly remember that my stats were something like 6/10 strength, 4/8 intelligence, 1/6 mana when did they decrease so much??!!

You see if the numerator increases or denominator decreases it means I am getting strong right??! Then why is this like this? I think the update has a big too.

Any way when did I get a new skill? I have to check it out now. If I use it during a fight I might accidentally hurt my friends.

Thinking that I stood up and took a step towards the exit. "Where are you going?!!" It was my instructor. 

"Um... I just got a new skill so I was thinking of seeing how the skill works after going outside." I said to her.

"This is not the training hall at the company. If you go out you may get hurt." She started scolding me.

"Ha it's all right. Getting hurt is better than hurting someone." I smiled at her. "...." she didn't know what to say so I started walking.

"Wait!! I will come with you. You are just a low grade Arcaner so roaming alone is dangerous."

"Oh really??"

"As your instructor I should help you." Humm she is really serious, man!! Now what could I say "Alright."

We started walking away from the building. But this city is not really something worth sightseeing because it was more like a horror movie. Like blood everywhere, broken buildings, fallen trees, blasted cars and so on. But this is something too cruel it's more than what I imagined reading a novel.

After walking some distance we found some free place probably a park which had dead trees and grass covered in blood.

"Now I think you can practice so show me your new skill." AAAHH she is so impatient.

"Come on I don't even know how to use it." Yeah she didn't even teach me anything.

"Huh? What is there to know?? Every elemental Arcaner have to flow his mana into his hands as many skills are used by hands." She explained me with a serious look on her face.

MAAAN! I am not used to being with serious people because I am always surrounded by cheerful and enthusiastic people all the time.

Anyway slowly made my mana circulate through my hands. FLASH

[SKILL 'STRIKE' HAS BEEN ACTIVATED]

BUZZZZ CLIK BOOOOMM "!!!!!"

What the!! Did a mini lightning just came out of my hand?? 

I looked towards my instructor. She was speechless too. So she too didn't expect a skill like that huh?

"How was that?" I asked her to walking towards her.

"How did you do that?!" Huh why is so serious??

"Huh? You are the one who said to flow my man into my hands so that's what I did." I answered her.

"No, not that..... how did you gain a high grade skill?? Even if it's effect was low but still." 

".... That's a high grade skill?" I don't know too much about skills so....

"Don't joke with me!!! Are you hiding your skills?? Are you a high grade Arcaner who is supposed to kill me from your company."

"Huh?? What are you even talking about?? I don't even have many skills. And I am just a newbie." As I walked towards her she started walking back.

MANN!! Why the hell is she thinking of me that way?

 ROAAARRR What the hell was that?? We suddenly heard a loud roar and don't expect it to be a humans voice because it's definitely not.

BOOOM Something fell from above "!!!!" What the!!!!? Is this still a zombie??!!

SWOOOSH "!!!" It's fast!!!....
