Marinette Karnowsky is a nineteen years old girl who has lived her life in what you would call misery. Having lost her mother at a young age and made to face the cruel stepmother who used to be her mother's best friend, she had never seen or experienced anything good. Happiness was something she experienced only when her older stepsister and best friend was around, but her bad luck overflowed after she went to college and mysteriously cut all connections with Marinette.
