Reigning Darkness

Alexandra was not left to wallow in her self-pity for long as she saw the darkness accumulating in front of her.

"What nonsense are you spouting?" Arioch asked. 

Alexandra clicked her tongue as her thoughts got disturbed. She had put a spell to slowly heal his wound and nothing to reduce his pain. He was shivering as the spell was stitching the gash wound in his abdomen. And still, he couldn't hold his tongue.

"Shut up and watch. Don't advocate your stupidity," Alexandra flicked some sand inside his mouth. He started coughing and in turn, his wound hurt more and he started grunting. 

Alexandra turned her attention back to the accumulating mist. To her dread, it was Maximus.

Maximus cannot leave his physical form and if he is manifesting into his physical state from nothing, that only means that Inanis has taken full control of his body.
