~~~(POV: Lyatt Scott)~~~
~~~(Date: February 9th, 2297)~~~

~~~(Time: 11:45 AM)~~~
The corpse of Xerxol is a grotesque sight. Take away the fact her skull is bashed in, and you still got one ugly motherfucker. Being the daughter of an Epic Grade Demon would do that, and subsequentially, being a demon. I look at her body more closely, and I notice something that's rather disturbing. Literal black smoke is leaking from her skull, and it's a very fascinating sight. Devin described it in his posts, but I've never seen it. Mental Immunity is something to be feared. I can't really help feeling this should've ended differently.
I was really looking forward to fighting her, no matter how difficult she would've been. I never anticipated she had mind-reading capabilities. Many players would be glad they got such an easy victory, but I wanted to test out my power against a full-fledged dungeon boss. While the dungeon is Uncommon Grade, it's still challenging. There were many times I had to retreat due to running out of mana. It's of no matter now, what's done is done. All I can do is look forward to the next chance I get to fight an actual strong opponent.
The black smoke continues to leak from her skull. I pity whoever tries to peer into my mind anymore. This looks excruciating. I look around her body, and I read the information of the items that dropped. I go straight to the blue-colored item, and I pick it up. It's Grant's Ring, the Rare item that I've come all this way for. The other items that dropped are Uncommon Grade. You can tell by their green glow. The only thing worthwhile to pick up is Travelers Compass. It's an expensive Uncommon Grade magical tool. You can get them in shops, but it's pricy.
The Travelers Compass allows you to Fast Travel, to an extent. You can only Fast Travel to locations you've already been to, and they have to be named and marked locations. It's convenient for grinders, cause it allows you to run the same dungeon over and over again. After you're done, you can Fast Travel to any named place of civilization. Since I've been to Horris, I can use the Travelers Compass to go there anytime I want. Same for Nettleton and Grant's Dungeon since their named locations. That's enough of that, time to put on my new ring.
Once on, my Mana pool jumps from 1700 mana to 2200 mana. Nothing else that dropped is worth picking up, so that means I'm done. I turn towards the back wall, and there's a large crystal there. I walk up to it, and I place my hand on it.
[Congratulations! You've cleared the Uncommon Grade Dungeon: Grant's Dungeon!]
[This Dungeon is now open for reruns and can be repeated for loot drops!]
[For being the first to clear an Uncommon Grade Dungeon solo, you get Increased mana regeneration!]
[Mana Regeneration has risen from +1 every second to +5 every Second!]
[Your Player Lore Tab has been updated!]
I look at my updated player information, and things are looking pretty good. I'm building a solid foundation. I'm teleported out of the dungeon, and I'm back at the entrance. I've come for what I need, and I came out with something a little extra. Now it's time to decide what I'm doing next. There are many hidden great things out there. Powerful items that can be taken, but I'm not strong enough to get anything really above Rare Grade at the moment. So, for now, I'll be methodically taking on certain quests that'll be beneficial in the long run.
Nettleton is pretty close, and the group of friends I escorted here got the teleporter fixed up. There are no restrictions on where I can go, but important cities or capitals require entrance fees. I don't have a single gold piece to my name. That's my next goal. Getting some money, and I know just the way to do it. Being back in Libertas is making me feel that high again, which can only be given by the game. If you're a real gamer, you know what I'm talking about.
