Chapter 97: Girls Talk II Oh My

(3rd Person: POV)

Inside of Millhiores' room the girls of the Athena familia are dressed in pajamas.

They are having a sleepover.

Since it had been some time since the girls got together just to hang out Millhiore organized this event.

All of which the girls from the familia were enjoying.

Even Ariane, despite the fact she is in her 40s.

As the girls happily chatted about various topics eventually they started doing each others hair.

All except for Echidna that this.

Because shortly after the slumber party began Ryuu finally got her revenge on Echidna for getting her drunk during their celebratory party following the destruction of Evilus.

Now the white-haired mage is curled up in a fetal position cowering in a corner of the room.

As for what Ryuu did to cause this particular reaction, it's better left unsaid.

None of the other girls decided to comment on the situation either. Since they all agreed Echidna brought this on herself due to her own actions.

You reap what you sow.

Moving on.

As the night wore on the girls broke out some alcohol.

And this time Ryuu decided to drink because she wanted to and not because she was tricked into doing so.

Echidna even crawled out of her corner to join her friends.

However Ariane wasn't allowed to have any alcohol since no one wanted to deal with taking care of her after she passed out from one glass.

So no matter how much she potted like a kid the other girls kept the boos out of her reach.

A bit tipsy Millhiore suddenly decided to speak up.

"Am, everyone please listen up. There is something I must say." She announced.

When she did do all the other girls looked in her direction.

"Well you see...Diluc and I...we had sex!" She said. An embarrassed smile on her face after she did so.

Hearing this Echidna immediately closed the distance to Millhiore and took her hands in her own. Putting their faces inches apart.

"Oh my!" She said. "Tell me everything. When did it happen? How many times did you do it? What kind of things did the two of you do? Does Diluc have a big di-"

Before Echidna could finish asking anymore inappropriate questions Leonmitchelli delivered a close line to her neck, slamming her into the floor.

When this happened Echidna got a flushed face.

Completely ignoring the flat looks everyone else is giving her.

But honestly no one in the Athena familia can say they would like Echidna to act any other way.

Even Ryuu.

But she would never admit such a thing out loud.

No really.

She would rather die than admit such a thing.

Deciding to ignore Echidna like usual the others girls focused their attention back on Millihiore.

"Am, congratulations I guess." Ariane spoke.

"So, does this mean you and Diluc are a couple now?" Ryuu question.

Millhiore shook her head. "No. We aren't. But...Hehehe" Releasing a laugh Millhiores' ears and tails started happily moving side-to-side.

"When are you two going to make it official?" Leonmitchelli asked.

Since she is happy for her sister in all but blood.

Even so she she made a mental note to have a "chat" with Diluc later on. Just to make sure the red head knew exactly what might happen to him if he ever hurt Millhiore.

The exact moment this happened Diluc got a shiver down his spine.

But that is a story for another time.

"Well we haven't really discussed it, but I think it will happen soon." Millhiore answered.

"Good for you then." Echidna said.

Having recovered from Leonmitchelli's earlier attack.

"Yes, I wish you luck." Ariane said.

"As do I." Ryuu added.

"Thanks." Millhiore said. A smile on her face.

She really appreciated all the support her friends were showing her in this matter.

"No problem. This is what friends are for after all." Leonmitchelli spoke up.

Everyone else nodding their heads in agreement.

Once they did so Ryuu decided to speak up.

"Am, if we are discussing matters then I would like everyone's help in making a decision." She said.

"Sure, what's the issue Ryuu?" Millhiore asked.

"Well Morax birthday is coming up but I am unsure what to get him. So ideas would be appreciated." Ryuu stated.

She had been thinking about this for the past few weeks. Yet no matter what idea she came up with Ryuu found it lacking somehow.

"How about some expensive food or drink?" Ariane suggested.

"I thought of that. But Morax isn't really the type for that sort of thing."

All the girls nodded their heads in agreement.

Their captain was a simple man who enjoyed simple pleasures.

That's not to say he wouldn't enjoy receiving an expensive gift from Ryuu, but he definitely wouldn't enjoy it from the bottom of his heart.

Which is what Ryuu is going for.

"Ryuu, I get why you are asking us but isn't there someone else you should be discussing this matter with? Namely a certain red-headed werewolf." Echidna spoke.

As she did so the others girls looked at her with shocked expressions on their faces.

Since this is one of the rare moments outside of serious matters Echidna didn't make a perverted suggestion.

Hearing Echidna's words Ryuu got an embarrassed look on her face.

Since all this time she hadn't talked to Rose at all about Morax birthday. Despite the fact both of them were in a relationship with him.

It's not that the two girls didn't talk or like each other. They did.

But when it was concerning their relationship with Morax both girls tended to keep those details to themselves and never exchange them with each other.

Their own personal ways of enjoying their separate private time with Morax.

However after thinking about things for a moment Ryuu suddenly realized there would be no one else who knew Morax just as well as she did beside Rose. So consulting her about his birthday gift was the perfect idea.

"You are absolutely right. Thank you Echidna." Ryuu said.

As she did so the eyes of the other girls went wide in shock once again.

Since Ryuu was thanking Echidna for her advice.

Which she has never done before.

"Fufu, you're welcome." Echidna spoke. Puffing out her chest in pride as she did so.

She then got up close to Ryuu. "One more thing Ryuu, I have a suggestion for a birthday gift I'm sure Morax will enjoy from the bottom of his heart." She said.

Then before Ryuu could say anything Echidna leaned in close and whispered her idea in her ear.

Normally this would earn the witch a smack to the face, but this time Ryuu did no such thing.

Instead she listened to Echidna's idea for Morax birthday gift.

Even though it brought a massive blush to her face.

When Echidna finished she leaned back.

Ryuu simply nodded her head in agreement after she did.

"It's a good idea." Ryuu said.

But to give Morax the birthday gift Echidna suggested she would need to talk to Rose first.

Since the plan just given to her is something she couldn't pull off without the red-headed werewolf help.

And if Rose agreed then the two of them would move forward together.

Turning Morax 16th birthday into one he will never forget.
