Prologue

A world where everyone and anyone can live happily.

That is the dream my father wished to accomplish. He was a great man who overseered the masses and respected the populace opinion.

He was truly a magnificent leader... as a father however, he was a complete failure.

Well I guess its only fine that he doesn't act as my father. After all, the only thing I could do was not be a nuisance in front of him.

That isn't really a problem for me as I was also busy trying to be the "perfect son" of the leader of a nation.

Growing up to be successor of a ruler, a father was nothing more than a title of formalities. Both those who are in position and those who are simply opportunistic

would try to get close to me with their innocent facades, while others would simply compare me to their children to try and please me while undermining the hardships their

children had to go through for their acknowledgement.

Children my age often times would also try to get close to me- not by their pure intent obviously. Some ordered by their parents, while some simply thinking of my position.

In the end, it was just my position that mattered. "I" was not something that people would look at. "I" was not something people would understand for who "I" actually am.

I... am sick of this...

If this title of mine is all I have for my worth, then how could "I" live "my" life. Acknowledge these facades? live as a doll? for what? for others? How about me?... what about me?

Questions of such arise in my head asking what is the meaning of my life, the meaning of this world, the meaning... of living.

I felt the cool yet gentle wind breeze my cheeks as I heard the tranquil humming of the birds. Opening my eyes, a world vast of colors leniently bombarded my vision.

from the green grass to the purple-leave trees, to the crystal clear water of the river to the white summits of the mountains. Then to the bluish sky with a tint of pink which shows the giant blue sun

high and above. But the most eye-catching of them all would be, without a doubt, the aurora like gasses high above the sky which the many moons of this new world has.

Yes, that's right, I am now in a different world. But unlike any other "in another world" that I heard so much when I was young, I wasn't reincarnated. All I remember was sleeping and waking up in another world,

and in another body. As I gained consciousness and comprehended the situation, it wasn't fear of loosing what I have left behind that bothered me, nor was it joy that I have been freed from a life of "my" worth.

What I felt was something more akin to serenity-- as if I have accomplished something big and decided to lay low.

Just for a moment, I closed my eyes and let myself breathe in a calm manner. other than the memories of myself, I also remember the memories of this body. Or rather, the previous owner of this body.

"..what..?"

I unconsciously asked. Wondering what may have happened to the previous owner of this body. Although I have no recollection from his memories of what may have happened to him when I entered his body. I concluded that

we may have fused with one another. However, how would a fusion of psyche even happen in the first place? but no matter, I believed in my conclusion as to not hurt my head thinking of how.

As I sat up from my bed, strands of white covered my vision. Thinking it was from the stitches of my pillow, I tried pulling on it.

"huh.."

I said, almost deadpan, coming to a realization that that "stitches" was actually my hair.

"Well who would have a pillow with that many loose stitches anyways...*sighs*.. stupid.."

I gently swept my hair to the side and analyzed where I have woken up from. In front of my bed, was a screen like wall-- similar to those of the sliding doors from the east of my world. on my left was a

simplistic cabinet with shelves on its left where simple yet artistic looking artifacts are kept on. On my right was an open window overlooking the grandeur new world that I have woken up to and at its side was a desk.

I got up from my bed and stood in front of the window, my hands holding onto the base of it, while I took a look at the magnificent view in front of me.

I was astonished by it, but at the same time, it felt like I was used to it. The wind blew gently on my face, sweeping my hair back a little. The thought of a relaxation where I could only think of my environment

felt tender to the soul, but my body was used to it which kind of felt anti climatic in a way.

*knock**knock*

I heard as someone slide my room's door open.

She wore something akin to a maid outfit, but I can tell her uniform somehow was made of a lighter material compared to the thick-material uniform our palace had.

her black hair paired well with her lustrous magenta eyes... her eyes... so perfected that you wouldn't think that they are those of a human, well that's because they aren't.

"She" is named Sophia, and she is something like an automaton from my old world. The only difference is the materials used. As unlike my previous world, electricity isn't something generated as they are already

abundant in something called Lumoine-- a glowing stone like object found in dungeons where electric charges and magnetism are prominent. Well in a world like this where even this planet is five times bigger than

my previous world, it's only understandable that there are things different from my previous worl-

"Sir. White, your grandfather ordered me to wake you up for breakfast."

"ah.. I see, I will be down in a few moments."

I answered trying to regain my composure.

"and uhh, can you stop adding "Sir" to my name? its kind of weird as I am only 7."

"Negative. It is the right way to call a relative of master."

"ah.. nevermind, thank you."

Sophia gently bowed her head and quietly left the room. As for me, being called a "Sir" which indicates an honorable and splendid knight felt kind of new to me. Though I guess the common sense of this world would also be

different from that of my old one.

*crack*

a sound of breaking accompanied by the feeling of stepping on something knocked me back to my senses as I moved my foot away from where I stood. There, a necklace like piece looking like an ancient chronograph was, with

its glassy like surface cracked.

"This is..?"

I pondered as it was not in any of the memories or knowledge that I had inherited from the previous owner of this body, White Lucklastrey. As I continued to ponder over it, I remembered that my grandfather has called for me to join in breakfast. So I placed the necklace at the desk and headed to the small dining of this eastern like style mansion, not noticing the glint of light in the necklace as I turned towards the door.
