Chapter 155 Williams's Doubt

The meal was served on the table by Zoe and other maids who stood aside and waited upon Calamity and Williams.

Williams arranged dishes for Calamity and said, "Eat!"

Calamity shook her head, "No! I'm not hungry!"

His face suddenly turned grave, Williams commanded sternly, "Eat it! This is my order!"

Calamity looked up at him, seeing his eyes flash with irritation and his coldness on his face from the swaying candlelight. She paused and there seemed to be something blocking her throat. "Yes, your Majesty!" said she.

She picked up the chopsticks and lowered her head to eat what he brought. She ate quickly and stuffed herself constantly though she was almost choked. She did not want to sulk, but his words stimulated her. Indeed, they are now not lovers but monarch and his subject. He is God, so she must obey what he says.
