Chapter 30

Joe woke in a hot sweat, he still felt the sting of the sun on his skin. 'Only a dream' he told himself as he crawled up from his sleep , these dreams were a warning he decided. He looked around the room and Eddy was gone. He heard: "This is destiny my friend" again ring in his head and then felt the dread again, he searched his pockets in a panic. When he felt the VIP pass and the golden keycard a wave of relief flowed over him, soothing the dread momentarily, his escape was still possible but where was Eddy?

It was 5pm, that meant the sun was still up and Joe had time to escape with Eddy before Victoria woke up and realized he was gone. He didn't shower or change clothes, he just got up and headed out the room knowing his phone was lost and Eddy's was inside Joy's room.
