Chapter 27

Hours passed on the balcony, eventually Victoria sat down next to Joe making herself comfortable as he asked questions and she answered with a soft gentle voice. He learned many things that night sitting only meters away from the door that had contained bloodthirsty beasts who had wanted to drain his blood. He learned that werewolves and vampires made up the majority of magical people for they had curses that could only be spread by converting humans.

Vampires were immortal in the sense that once they were turned they didn't age, the vampire numbers were great but not as great as the wolves, Vampires tended to be more choosy in their offspring. Werewolves had the biggest numbers but they aged (their normal lifespan was around 200 years old) and most werewolves died fighting amongst themselves in the never-ending dispute of lands and properties.
