Chapter 40: Twilight Time, Part 2

Elgin National, Wednesday morning

The Callahans, along with Dawn, entered the building and started down the long hallway. Katya grabbed Cyrus's arm as she whispered, "There were times last week that I believed we'd never enter this place again. It's so good to be back."

As they started past Crown Hall, they heard thunderous applause. Upon entering, they were surprised to see that the employees had gathered to welcome their return. There was even an elaborate laser banner display that Louie had put together. Katya had to laugh to herself that although all their names came up on the banner, it was his love interest, Dawn's that had the most intricate design.
