No one can balme Ren for attempting to kill Aaron. He has every right to feel this type of way. I think he thinks it might give him closure to all the nightmares and trauma he has received. From being torture at monolith, almost getting killed by saving Monika and the others, to comeing back home thinking he's finally safe but turns out the whole union and monolith teams up to hunt Ren, forced to leave to the dwarf domain, fights a war and close to death again, and now he finally sees the person for the cause of all that. not to mention that throughout his time in monolith, every second is him trying to survive and not die, the amount of mental fatigue this guy has gone through is nuts. sorry for the long post.
Ren would not do this had he been in the right state of mind. Angelica making a contract with him was added to build up for this moment. Ren needs to somehow snap out of it quickly before he hurts someone and then realizes what he’s done. The story will be drastically different depending on if he injures or kills one of his friends. At this point the gang needs to work together to knock him out before that happens. Thanks for this chapter. Excited for tomorrow
