The Invasion of Kyoto

The response time of the Arcadian forces were quick as within minutes the Heli-Carrier was overhead of Kyoto with the Arcadian Fighter's taking control of the Airspace.

The Japanese Imperial Airforce had launched all fighter's in the immediate area with more on the way from other airbases.

Their plan was to take down the Heli-Carrier.

And not only was the Heli-Carrier a threat but a ton of Arcadian Transport ship's were landing troops on the street's of Kyoto threatening the security of the city.

The defenses of Kyoto such as the Anti-Air guns were not activating at all which allowed the Arcadian Empire free reign over the skies of Kyoto.

The Japanese Empire although they were known to be hard to win a war against since they controlled a lot of land, Had a massive, and the Japanese Mainland was a massive island which couldn't be invaded without having lot's of casualties.

Of course one could drop a Nuke and make the matter easy but the Japanese also have nukes so it won't end well for both sides.

The Japanese had a Defense System in place incase the mainland was invaded. The system was called the Tenjin and it was designed to activate all the stationary weapons around the cities of the Japanese Empire which will turn every city into a giant Fortress making it hard to attack it from both ground and the air.

For the Ground the Japanese had the Junjii Automated Defense Cannons which would identify enemy target's using satellite and fire on them as they get in range of the cannon.

For the Air the Japanese had the Horio Automated Air Defense Cannons which would do the same thing as the Junjii Defense Cannons but for the Air around the city.

The Japanese Empire had invested almost a hundred Billion of Yen into this system which was completed in a 8 year period.

But the Tenjin System was not activating at all nor responding to any controls. But the problem was quickly found since it wasn't hard to figure out.

It was the Arcadian Empire who had somehow hacked into their system and now blocked them from activating the Tenjin System.

"Sir the Tenjin System is being locked out by the enemy" Reported one of the Intelligence Officers

The Officer in charge whose name is Captain Imai Nakamoro face was not good at this moment since if that system doesn't come online then they may lose this war.

"I don't care what you have to do but find out how to fix it or else the enemy will take everything from us" Yelled Captain Nakamoro as he slammed his hand on the table

The other intelligence officers didn't waste anytime and started to try and find ways to fix this problem.

About half an hour later they had arrived at a conclusion "Sir if we completely reset the System deleting it's database then whatever the enemy used to make the system not respond to us will be deleted as well. But this will also require us to create a new database that will have to connect all the weapons back to the main system and completely reprogram them which will take some time" Said one of the Intelligence officers.

"How long will it take" Asked Captain Nakamoro since they were running out of time.

"Because we will have to start from scratch it will take close to 72 hours of continuous working from all of us to complete it" Said one of the Intelligence Officers.

Captain Nakamoro was about to get angry again when he received a call on his Phone.

He picked it up and it was the Minister of War "Captain Nakamoro why aren't those weapons online and firing at the enemy" Asked the Minister of War.

"Sir the enemy have managed to hack into our system and disable the use of our defense System, but we have found a solution" Said Captain Nakamoro

"Good then how long will that take" Asked the Minister of War

"Sir it will take 72 hours with everyone working to get it done" Said Captain Nakamoro as the phone went completely silent after he heard that.

A few moments later and the Minister of War voice was heard once again "Captain pack up your men and move to the new Strategic Headquarters in Tokyo where we will mount a counter attack in the coming days.

"Yes Sir we will meet you there" Said Captain Nakamoro as he hung up the phone.

"Alright everybody pack it up and make sure to destroy any confidential information we are heading to the new Strategic Headquarters in Tokyo.

Everyone had immediately start to move and pack up all the things that they could carry and load it onto the trucks outside of the building.

They didn't care why they were leaving, as long as they got far away from this place then they didn't care where they go.
