Chapter 73: EGOS AND APOLOGIES

Two hours later, I'd witnessed many heated arguments and minor disagreements between the band members about set order, music arrangements, and anything Tyler could find to challenge someone about, really. His presence in the group was the most fractious, and I found myself becoming annoyed at his constant snide remarks, especially toward Flynn. I was impressed with Flynn's quick and clever responses to Tyler, because all he achieved with each dumb remark was to make himself look stupid, childish, or envious of Flynn's position in the group.

At one point, I tried to sympathize with him, thinking it must be difficult to be as talented as he was and not be the center of attention. However, after the fourth ridiculous comment, I'd been completely turned off from offering any kind thoughts toward the man.
